Air Asia going up because of cheaper oil...I think Hubline should go up too. Cheaper oil good for shipping. Better profit. So smart investors to look out for benefactor from cheap oil. Those in transport should benefit with big drop in oil prices...Lets wait for Hubline time to go up the sky....
Even though I hold hubline-wa, I doubt shipping line can benefit as much as AA or AAX because shipping lines will have to adjust saving from oil back to customers due to hard competition, it's quite different from airlines company can direct benefit from it if they have short hedging position Just my 2 cts
i still remember last year they post an article in The Star...saying that there is a turnaround plan for hubline. but until now, u all got c any change in the company? only got one changes i.e. share price become lower and lower!!!!!
oil price down so much, share price go down further more. what happen to this company? better shut down the company. when i look at this counter, i really hati panas.
I think this co has problems since the beginning of econimic crisis few yrs back. Management knows how to play with publicity (high trading volume, turnaround plan), accounts window dressing, delayed annoucment of director's shares disposal to aviod sharp drop in share price so the directors can jump ship first. Hopefully, this is only my guess and the co will survive.
Sounds like the old days of MAS , mahhh Laundry tax payers money from left pocket to right pocket and in this case "right issue from shareholders to Mgmt's pockets , mahhh ........ what's new !!! Malaysia BOLEH lahhhhh
From the history we can see the director kept selling the share down...so how is this gonna be good for the investors?? If the dorector of the company keep pressing the share down...by mass selling it...how are we gonna get the share price up??
one of the example of the many I don't want to list out every one...
look for yourself...at 4.5 sen already selling.... now going down 4 sen.....slowly to 3.5 sen....
If you are the director...do you sell your sell if you have the heart to steer the ship to higher ground?? What is your motive to keep disposing the share?
The share is part of your own company and you are the top player...people look up for you to get the company higher and higher...and you keep selling it.... just make me lose my confidence seeing the share top volume with more sellers..
When they dispose their ships is there an a/cs showing the assets are fair value and did they give an a/c to shareholders to estimate their value of disposal. Do they press down the price to have it delisted purposely and go private?
It is high time that Bursa make investigation into these kinds of companies which after many right issues, they dispose their assets and go down the way having directors selling off their stakes. The authorities must prevent bursa meltdown and property bubbles eruption to foster resilient economy to weather a repeated financial crisis in south-east Asia facing a weakening curreny.
