as far the losses was due to lower oil pose their customers not invest on drilling oil.its is whole world facing the same not exempt... indeed once oil price rebound this stock will shown profit...the company manages to reduce the borrowing , well done

The Ophir project originally intended 5.2 million barrels of oil pumped over the three-year lifespan of the field, with that number being contested by more recent reservoir studies by Octanex, showing a production estimate of 6.7 million barrels.

6.7 mil barrels* 45USD = USD301,500,000
cost of development = USD90,000,000
Profit over 3 years = USD211,500,000
scomies 30% stake = USD 63,450,000

Assuming Brent oil stays at USD45 per barrel, it will increase USD63 mil of profit into SCOMIES bottom line, this is equal to USD 21.15 mil or RM90 mil per year!!

EPS would be 3.8 sen per share!

Ophir Production Sdn Bhd continues to make good progress with the completion and
installation of the wellhead platform. The platform is ready for rig and drilling in mid-May. The
