Overall, I had 50% in masteel, 25% each in Ann Joo & SSteel and all my targets were hit in Masteel (1.60), Ann Joo (3.80) & SSteel (2.40) & I was busy selling all then, so I didn't have any of it now :)

After that, I bought some VS warrant when it was below 70c. Not much, about 10% of my fund. But now it grows to become 20% of my funds :)

I have major positions in PoHuat, LiiHen and Hevea. If you look for earnings growth and yield play, these are the stocks to consider for your portfolio.

From Insider Asia:

Reconstruction to boost demand
Apart from its new product: panel-based bedroom set as immediate
growth driver, we see potential surge in furniture demand on
hurricane reconstruction especially for the middle and affordable
segments. This may include temporary furniture during
reconstruction period.
We maintain our BUY call and leave our double-digit earnings
growth forecast for 2017 unchanged.

I think not a problem. To go to 2.50. I think q3 result will be good for timber company like liheen and pohuat. And liheen has gone up since last month and this is zjust a beginning for pohuat.

Missed it, should have followed moneysifu, safe bet

moneySIFU I have been monitoring Poh Huat since last year and decided to go in when price was RM1.83-1.84 this morning.

The result is fairly good but may not as good as expected by some others, the company has been on the expansion mode & has been incurring capital expenditure to expand production capacity.

The company's revenue has been growing and we will see.

Hi all, I'm a newbie in share market. May I know what's the differences between EPS from (per share) and EPS from adjusted per share value?

csan

ang, not too sure what you're referring to. but if the second one is lower than first one, i think i know what you're referring to. second one is basically companies with warrants and/or loan stocks. when we calculate EPS, we want to factor in ALL shares - including all warrants and/or loan stocks which has to be converted sometime in the future. if you do not include them, u will overvalue the company.

ang, also try to attend some classes teaching valuations based on fundamentals, not technicals. there should be plenty of classes out there and don't be afraid to ask many questions in those classes.
