KUALA LUMPUR (Jan 22) -- Malaysian furniture maker Poh Huat Resources Holdings said one of its facilities in the southern state of Johor caught fire on early Sunday morning.
The company does not expect major operational impact from the incident, the company's Financial Controller Lee Ing Tiong told Nikkei Markets.
POHUAT’s Sales is more than 90% export. Profit margin will be dropping due to weaker USD (USD/MYR dropped from highest RM4.50 to RM4.00). And analysis expects USD/MYR will be further dropping to below RM3.90.
Not only POHUAT factory caught fire. LIIHEN factory last month caught fire as well. It seem to me like fire incident is due to “bad” weather condition.
Optimus, yes, you can ask questions. But jumping into conclusion too fast or being judgmental without evidence will do you no good, and as I said, it's actually a defamation.
optimus9199, if you are in the business of producing furniture, you will know yourself of the risk, who will purposely burnt their factory to claim for the small amount of money from the insurance?
agreed with liewtz and tiennhieu. we have to wait for the investigation from authority parties before make any unconfirmed statement in the public which may impact the stock market. This is why pohuat management request for trading suspension.
ask datuk calvin.....this is his counter.....or maybe should take back the title datuk from him and replace wif pastor cos pastor koh been missing so pastor calvin can take his place.....hahaha
This book is the result of the author's many years of experience and observation throughout his 26 years in the stockbroking industry. It was written for general public to learn to invest based on facts and not on fantasies or hearsay....
