Stevenh99, your reasoning is flawed and fallacious. Everything falls back on the underlying current and future value of the share.

Why JPM dictating us? It is all because of their deep pockets. Nothing to do with fundamentals or technicals. With deep pockets they can control investors minds. The rest will just follow.

這一波 Supermx 短線看, 應該會達到 4.3 ~ 4.5 之間, 順利站穩於此區間, 則可以嘗試突破至中長線上升趨勢通道. 個人見解供參考. 做個備註.

Coming winter, US will be badly hit, likely recording around 200k daily cases with 2000 death daily. UK won't be too far off. So these 2 biggest glove consumers in the world will need to seriously stock pile gloves to the max for the next few months to be full prepared for the worst. ASP and lead time should start to increase again.

In next 3 months, many parts of the world will be seriously impacted by Delta. Not enough gloves to fill the huge demand.

Whether we like it or not, COVID-19 is there to stay like common flu. Death rate may plateau or decrease but cases will increase till herd immunity is achieved. The near future is a pandemic of the unvaccinated and anti lockdown.

Frontliners will give up first before the gloves demand decreases.

Going forward, many countries will start to realise the great importance of their frontliners, and will give them much incentives and provide all the necessary protection of PPE and especially good quality gloves with sufficient quantities. Collapse of frontliners = collapse of the nation. So must protect the frontliners at all cost. Globally, the worst of the pandemic is just around the corner.

Delta as % of new cases:
UK - 98%
US - 83%, expected to hit 90+% next week

Against Delta. Pfizer have a low efficacy of 39% {Israel's data}
After 6 months it further dropped to 19%.
A 3rd shot looks unavoidable

All other vaccines should have similar outcomes
All will face waning immunity too

I guess most countries will have no choice but to save livelihood over lives

And we can also forget about reaching herd immunity as it will be like 'kucing bertanduk'. Not when variants like Delta can so easily cause breakthrough and escape. Soon there will be other variants presumably more infectious than the last

More than two-thirds of the cases are in Ho Chi Minh City, the ministry said in a statement.

Meanwhile, troubling data from the CDC shows that Delta is spreading faster than prior models suggested, and now accounts for 82 percent of all new cases across the country.

'Where we are right now is a very different place from where we were a year ago,' Anne Rimoin, a professor of epidemiology at UCLA, told MSNBC.

'It's like when you are playing a video game and you get to the next level, and all of a sudden you are playing against an opponent that is much more difficult to play against,' she said.

'This variant, the Delta variant, is 200 times more contagious than the original variant, so when you come in contact with this variant it's much more dangerous,' added Rimoin.

Dr Noor Hisham: 96.8 per cent Covid-19 patients under low-risk categories, 265 in critical condition
Author: savemalaysia | Publish date: Sat, 24 Jul 2021, 8:53 PM

KUALA LUMPUR, July 24 — A total of 3.2 per cent of Covid-19 cases reported today are Category (CAT) -3, -4 and -5.

Health director-general Tan Sri Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah said the remaining cases which make up 96.8 per cent are cases under the CAT-1 and CAT-2, or low-risk categories.

“There are 260 CAT-5 patients who are critical and in need of ventilators, 129 CAT-4 patients who need oxygen, 127 CAT-3 patients who have lung infection, 6,901 CAT-2 patients with mild symptoms while 8,485 patients have no symptoms,” he said in a statement today.

Malaysia registered a second consecutive day of record-high Covid-19 numbers today, surpassing yesterday’s unprecedented 15,573 cases.

Dr Noor Hisham had earlier said that the number of new Covid-19 infections detected over the last 24 hours was 15,902, giving Malaysia a cumulative total of 996,393 since the pandemic began.

Dr. Jamalludin, however, said the vaccines had shown to be effective in protecting people from a severe form of the Covid-19 virus.

“Two doses of Comirnaty (Pfizer) and AstraZeneca can protect 88% and 60% respectively from the Delta variant, and it can prevent hospitalisation up to 96%,” he added.

As such, he said the vaccination rollout played a pivotal role in ensuring the Delta variant did not undermine recovery efforts.

“Our vaccine rollout now is among the best in Asia, if not in the world. More than 15% of the population have received two doses and it is important to fully vaccinate more than 50%.

“However, we may see its effect only later. Perhaps not in terms of the number of positive cases, but the number of hospital admissions and deaths,” he said.
