With the vaccine effect waning fast, daily cases have risen to 2000+ and 60% of the hospitalized cases are fully vaccinated ppl, this is not good news as even when many nations have yet to reach 30% of vaccination rate, Israel with 80% is alrdy starting to succumb to Delta. They may need booster jabs soon, while the rest of the world are still less than 25% vaccination rate. Delta may be an intermediary variant mutating towards a more powerful variant that can totally evade current vaccines and cause serious illness to fully vaccinated ppl soon.

US Covid case already 88.7 K on 26 July. By next week, should be over 100K cases. Less than 50% adults are vaccinated in the US and testing is not done on those fully vaccinated

Kossan 1.1b profit still contributed by higher demand and higher ASP.

For 1H21, the Group’s revenue increased by 237.37% to RM4.43 billion as compared with RM1.31 billion in
1H20 due to higher revenue from all three divisions. Profit before taxation (PBT) was RM2.78 billion, increased

Kossan had already vaccinated 5k workers. I believe the supermax, TG and Harta will also vaccinated all their factories workers so that there is no more disruption in their gloves production due to MCO.

In July 2021, under the Selangor State Government’s Vaccination Programme, Vaksin
Selangor (Selvax), KOSSAN administered close to 5,000 first dose of vaccines to both local and foreign
employees who have opted into the programme.
