USD50+ million deposited in Hong Kong some more merely political donations? Please la, no sane contributor would give that kind of money just because they believe in the cause that Musa's party is advocating. If "above board" why pay in Hong Kong?? There would have been a quid-pro-quo and that's corruption.

You are very fond of saying ICAC cleared your client. You expect us to believe that the venerable ICAC was concerning itself with possible corrupt practices in Malaysia? ICAC's so called clearance is irrelevant as far as Musa's alleged corruptions is concern.

"Musa Aman's acquittal: Decision fair and accurate" as it is prompted by an illegitimate government desperate to maintain and shore up numbers in a coalition composed of traditional political rivals. I may be no lawyer but I certainly know how to make commonsense judgments like many out here. You have failed to convince us!

Posted by NancyDrewWhite > 2020-06-12 17:54 | Report Abuse

PH is the one to be blame first! Waste so much saliva for what? Perception is everything, MO1 claim RM26b is political donation from Saudi royal family, what happened to him and Dumno at GE14? Other country if a kleptocrapts can't come clean at the court in 6 months.....direct go to jail first! What did PH do when they are in power? I say they are all abang adik cover up everything and wayang only!

Might as well withdraw all cases against UMNO members in 2018 and 2019. Reexamine these cases and file new case if have enough evidence. The AG and police should concentrate of cases like insulting the Religion, Fake news, steeling from Supermarket, etc. Easy to get evidence and quick to dispose.

Posted by UNITED KINGDOM > 2020-06-12 17:57 | Report Abuse

There are no 2 ways about it.

The charge should not have been withdrawn because :
1.The prosecution led by Sri Ram had informed the High Court judge presiding that they have a strong case. That they were bewilderd why Ghani Patel did not want to prosecute.
2. Former AG Ghani Patel is from Sabah too and relative of Musa A man. He should have disqualified himself from the case from making decision.
3. Musa Aman has admitted to the receipt of rm 340 million but says it was for political donation. This is no defence.
The money had gone into his accounts.
4. Rm 340 million received by Musa Aman was as an inducement for him to grant logging concessions ripping of Sabah forests. The concessions were worth billions of ringgit. This is clear corruption.
5.He had not declared this money. Thus clear case of money laundering.

In the national interest police report should be lodged against AG for :
1.Failure to act judiciously. This is because he received the file and papers on 6/6 and Case withdrawn on 9/6.
How could he have gone in detail through the whole evidence of the 46 charges.
2. How could rely of the former AG affidavit who had left in 2012.
3. In 2018 the Macc had reopened file and said strong evidence and recommended AG to charge Muss Aman.

Musa Aman has cost huge loss to the country. Perhaps Tuanku Rulers will look into it as it affects national interest.

The prosecution should file appeal against acquittal and or ask for revision of case.

How could this day light robbery be condoned.
The AG must answer and in national interest be removed.

QUOTE: The giving or receiving of political donations is not an offence in Malaysia. This was confirmed by the MACC in a statement made by then MACC Deputy Commissioner (Operations) Azam Baki (above). He confirmed that the giving and receiving of political donations were not offences and that the MACC has no jurisdiction over political donations in Malaysia. This was reported in the New Strait Times on Oct 7, 2017.UNQUOTE

Now, let's get this straight: Is "Azam Baki" a law dictionary, law journal, statute book, code of ethics, delphic oracle, the go-to entity for establishing a law, rule, order, decision, judgment?????????

So, in a court of law if Azam Baki says something, that's it - the gospel truth in totality and finality, and all judges MUST obey Azam Baki, right?

Political donations in China entitle observers to the inevitable conclusion that this is the safest and surest way to hide the veracity of a bribe.

We have become Cina comunist party now. WOW !!!

Using criminal means to raise political funds is criminal. Harun Idris went to prison for that. How did Gani Patail become a lawyer? Amer Hamzah Arshad pathetically misled the Judge. How did the Judge allow all this? Was the Judge qualified in the International Islamic University where they learn law half and quarter? With so many ‘respectable‘ persons who are criminals, does Malaysia have any future?

@sandcastle

You did raise a valid concern that i did consider. But then i realized that its East Malaysia and they have near total control of all their resources. A lot of business that are not possible to be done in west Malaysia can easily flourish there. For example:
http://www.epd.sabah.gov.my/v1/images/pdf/EIA/eiaguidelines/EIA_Guidelines_RiverSand.pdf?type=file

the above link is in regards to Environmental Impact Assessment needed to export River sand. Under s 2.3 Legal requirements you may note all requirements in regards to the land make use of Sabah ordinances as well as the Sabah Biodiversity Act 2000 which grants access to biological resources.

In fact, i have noticed whenever there is an announcement made by govt. regarding Malaysia. They are usually referring to West Malaysia in its entirety. East has a tendency to nod "Good for you" and then goes ahead and does its own thing.

There is a another document you may consider to the powers of the CM
https://sagc.sabah.gov.my/sites/default/files/law/MineralEnactment1999.pdf

Whereby we can see all minerals are vested in the state govt and the minister has the ability to approve or suspend any extraction of such minerals.

I havent gone to check which are the relevant laws on this matter however i am quite convinced that if the CM of Sabah makes a decision about Sabah resources they would assert it is their right to do so.

Frankly, Ginger Spice got it right as this may or may not amount to the same scenario as the timber approval. But, its not illegal. You will note that no-one questions whether or not the CM had the power to grant such approval but rather have focused on how and why he did it. So the order/approval itself has no problem.

The only thing i am still unclear about is whether or not approval is for Sea Sand as well because as far as i can tell. Sea sand export is also banned in East Malaysia

Posted by SpartanFury > 2020-06-13 01:07 | Report Abuse

@Jason85 thats where i am a little unclear.

The hong kong contract was for natural sand
The china contract was for both Sea and River Sand.

Its very likely that the Rm 2 million trial run is for the Hong kong contract as LOI outlines a minimum of 50,000MT- 55,000MT on FOB terms.
https://www.theedgemarkets.com/article/ageson-bags-rm117m-contract-sell-natural-sand-hk-firm

As for china, the terms are a bit more complicated
"Demand capacity comprises 50 million cubic metre per year of river sand and 100 million cubic metre per year of sea sand for a duration of 15 years,"
Ageson said the mining capacity would include 30,000 cubic metres per hour, equivalent to 180 million cubic metres per year, while the transport capacity requires about 4,500 shipments per year or 50,000 tonnes per shipment.
https://www.nst.com.my/business/2020/05/589738/ageson-bags-massive-rm275bil-contract-china

had to look up.. 1 cubic meter of sand is 1,631 Kg [note found later that contract specified 1 cubic meter is 1.531 tonne but i dint use that in calculation to lazy to redo]

50 million cubic meter river sand =81,550,000,000 KG =81.55m Tonne = 73.98million MT
100 million cubic meter sea sand = 73.98 x 2= 147.96 milion MT
Total = 221.94m MT

So the target of 4500 shipments per years x 50,000MT = 225M MT. which fits

Have not looked too deeply into the pricing but with alibaba prices averaging is about USD9 x 4 =RM 36/MT.

So, 221.94 x 36 = RM 7.99 B (if they could manage this pace the contract would terminate within 4 years from start)

Not yet starting selling sand, 7145 already collect cash of $40m from 7145PA conversation within this quarter. Where to find so easy cash without doing business? Directors can enjoy the money without doing anything. It is much better than other listed companies to find profit. God gift, Very fortunate.

Let me make it clear, Its Ageson worker wrote it wrong for bursa to annaounce! Its not sea sand actually, its salted sand! Many countries ban sea sand, in Malaysia also the same! But salted sand is not ban! Ages on should go ask bursa re_announce salted sand, not sea sand!

Yup, someone already clear the air about salted sand but not sea sand!

1. Salted sand means sand are from the junction of fresh water port and sea water port, but its taken from inside fresh water port side, not the sea water port side. By that it is 100% legal.

2. Just to mention the fresh water port side are jammed with tons of sand that causes nearby villages flash flood, by good chance Ageson is mining sand there. So those sand will not causes any more flash flood.(kill two birds with one stone)

3. Ageson is doing good deeds while earning mega profits from it. So everyone can invest in ageson with ease.

Just my sharing and why I invest mid to long term on this stock.

If i am wrong and hope any sifu can advice.

They purpose to issue PA on March, so they already know they are getting the selling sand project???

So they need a lot of capital to do it and the best way is by issued RENOUNCEABLE RIGHTS ISSUE OF UP TO 6,527,407,770 NEW IRREDEEMABLE CONVERTIBLE PREFERENCE SHARES

I believe they got a lot of supporter behind to finance and believe their sand project. Or else where got people got so much $$$ to convert it to mother share?

Before conversion of PA the share held is 582,108,290
But till today is 840,280,839 within 3 month.
Who got the $$$ to covert 289172549 @ $0.12 = $30980705

Their sand project awarded is $27.5B and this company share price is penny stock?????
Will you give such a Big project to such a company???? (Before I invest and i keep thinking about it too)

If I am the boss of this company and the most effective way to get fund and build good image is to have a big market capital.
First improve the company NOSH.
Once we have NOSH to a Billion (Assume that their target) than the share price start to move higher than their market capital will increase too. When company need $$$ to finance their project they can use their higher share price (Big Market Capital) to get more loan.(If i am right?)

When i buy this share ($0.16) my brokerage told me this share is manipulate as they want to off load their PA ($0.03) so they push up the mother share price to off load and it may be true?

I calculate the benefit and lost.

If true the share price will drop to $0.12 (Conversion price) that is more than 30% lost but will it be suspended as company keep earning Profit?

But if they are genuine business and hope to bring the company to the next lever especially their new Director DATO' LIEW KOK LEONG and the share price can move how high???

Disclaimer:
***I do not have any accounting and not a license brokerage so I just share my opinion and as this is a discussion and hope to get some advice for any shareholder with expertise on account can advice me.***

Good sharing. I bought into this company because many big projects coming in. This 27bil project is just a starter. Even if no new projects, this 27bil project is enough to justify higher share price in the future. Moreover, they have sorted out the AP issue by partnering with Bintang Dayang. So all is good for this company to fly

Welcome.
I cant see any reasons to argue the conversion of pa.
It is in favour of pa holders if IT IS IN THE MONEY.
What else we want.
If it is in the money, it is a win win basis, why worry about the dilution.
Remember, even if the companies making a lot of money, the dividends are miserable compared to the directors remuneration.

AGESON contract to supply sand to China has been reported to BUrsa Malaysia as RM27.5 Billion for supplying 150 million metre cube (M3) of sand ( Both sea and river sand combined ) over 15 years.
Which works out to be supplying total 2,250,000,000 M3 of sand over 15 years for RM 27.5 billion.
That will translate into a averagea price of RM 12.22 or USD 2.87 per M3 ( At today exchange rate )
Currently, our Malaysian sand contractors are already supplying river sand to Mother Ships anchored off the coast of Pahang near Pekan at a price of USD 9.50 per M3 ( EXCLUDING transport to China )
So how is the AGESON sand contract to supply and deliver sand to China at ONLY USD 2.87 per M3 ever going to be achieved.????? ( Even assuming there may be some slight costing differences between between river and sea sand )

@Luckydanny correction if you read the contract on bursa.
The amount of sand - 150million is pretty much an indicative amount of how much they expect to send in a year once fully up and running

The contract is limited to RM 27b.
The Price itself has not been negotiated and that makes sense since its a 15yr old contract.
So, the contract terminates once either 15 years are up or if they export sand amounting to RM 27b.

it could be that they agree 1kg is worth 1 billion and so someone carries 27 kg's to china and that would fulfill the contract.
