One of the trick commonly practiced in the market is that syndicate or boss of company pushes price up few days before poor qtrly result released, so that they can dispose share on hand to small fishes. Just watch out if SK is one of them.

There is also a possibility from “positive” side that its upcoming qtrly report is good and those who knows it earlier from accounting firm or boss of the company buy it first. We are outsiders, cannot know it precisely. Just trade based on our best judgement. I may sell SK this afternoon at few cents higher. Makes 4% only after holding for 10 years. Not a good investment but need to take back some cash in anticipation of tsunami crashing in US market. Good luck.

Not invested in skp but qr seems good to me if you study carefully. Increased revenue, margin drop due to mco, management positive on prospect (supported by strong revenue), strong operating CFs, and strong balance sheet. Looking to join if price is good. PE too high for me now as compared to local and regional peers.

how are you usre that its a1/2 month MCO effect? what if they dont get to bill their customer for the full March, which means only Jan/Feb, they already hit 426mm, if March is a full billing, that would be more than RM600mm revenue.
