Gas was also the same, when price was peaked more than USD100, everyone digging more wells & holes to produce more oils, end up huge production subsequently & finally, the rest is history.
Yeah, solar industry is not doing well. Many signals have already shown it. A solar friend told me, it is not just waiting 1 or 2 quarters. Have to wait n survive over YR 2017.
& 1 most scary signal is - too many unfamiliar IDs are saying good things about tekseng during this time. Buy buy buy... Scary man.
Ha, latlut, you have to look & see, listen to someone if what they said are supported with something, or make sense. I am still learning, really not easy.
ya. that's why you see i am following you. haha.. been holding a few counters but reported bad quarter. so. half the profit i made this year gone. hais.. when ppl see bad quarter, all panics selling d.
Over supply only happens when demand drops with Oil that happened becaus3 the world is trying to cut done on oil consumption as per the climate accord which has given all countries a target to reduce fossil fuel consumption, however the reverse effect of that is a huge increase in renewable energy to replace the fossil fuels such as Solar and Wind energy. It will continue to increase the demand for panels. You only have to look at the recent company report the reason they are increasing production is because they have already sold the additional panels they can produce before they have already made them. THAT TO ME IS GOOD BUSINESS !
Recently, company also convert a lot of warrant to mother, this maybe also a good sign. If the future of business is not certain , they will not convert warrant ? I do not know if this is logic thinking. Correct me if my guess is wrong.
You are exactly correct they will only comsider that option if they feel the future is looking secure and the company can accept the diluting of shares which is another reason the share price has dropped a little recently.
Nobody support the price ma drop-lu Sellers > buyers, price drop-lor Fund manager also not bodoh If Kenanga queue buy above CIMB Principal's cost They will also sell la..
So you post negative reports about CHINESE companies discussing Chinese domestic supply shortage of silicon. NONE OF THIS HAS ANYTHING TO DO WITH TEK SENG WHICH IS A MALAYSIAN COMPANY SELLING TO THE WHOLE WORLD AND MALAYSIA HAS THE LARGEST SUPPLY OF SILLICON IN THE WORLD MINED FROM SARAWAK.
LOOK AT FACTS IN REGARDS TO THE COMPANY IN QUESTION !
I am a tekseng supporter too. But I need to be very alert and open minded with the current solar outlook, world demand and etc. I believe every Retailers in this forum should do the same.
Tek Seng is on an aggressive expansion mode. T.S will hit max production by Dec 2016. TS has confirm orders till 2017 & with committed prices @ USD 1.60/pc. The present selling prices will not effect TS until 2018.
THE PROBLEM IS NO ONE HERE IS LOOKING AT FUNDERMENTALS YOU JUST LOOK AT CHINESE NEWSPAPERS WITH ARTICLES ABOUT CHINESE SOLAR COMPANIES ! THIS IS A MALAYSIAN COMPANY FOR GOODNESS SAKE !
TS has been dropping continuously for like more than 8- 10 days. Now you come out to blame on Chinese articles for panic selling? Please Do Not forget to blame those English articles too.
WETMARKET IF YOU CAN READ THE FUNDERMENTALS OF TEK SENG YOU WILL SEE IT IS A MALAYSIAN COMPANY MAKING PANELS SOLD ALL ROUND THE WORLD MARKETS NOT JUST DOMESTIC.
The company would not spend billions of investment on expansion plans and reward loyal investor with dividend just to cater Msia demand and sell in USD. Problem peole chose to believe what should not believe... Do more research and lose money hard earned money like a casino bet.
WELL SAID RUFFER I CAN SEE YOU HAVE READ THE SAME FUNDERMENTAL REPORT I HAVE JUST A SHAME WETMARKET ONLY READS OVERSEAS REPORTS ABOUT COMPANIES AND MARKETS THAT HAVE NO EFFECT ON A MALAYSIAN COMPANY UNLESS OF COURSE THEY ONLY SOLD TO CHINA HA HA
One bad article everyone loose their mind.haha..you should read dozen article to make your own judgement.that is as its should be.anyway thanks for this bargain price
Hi all, it is interesting to read those comment above. I can only believe TS will do well in long term. This is because many country is looking beyond fossil fuel and into alternative energy. There is a substantial allocation under UNFCC for the green climate. Solar power is one of the SDG which they need to achieved by 2030. It is a commitment of of all UN country. furthermore, there is many green grant floating around which solar panel can ride on which will drive solar panel consumption. My colleague came back from china recently attending a climate change forum and china is looking into big time solar power due to pollution generated from fossil fuel. Maybe due to economy slowdown, they hv scale back it. But do not forget, china like to artificial inflate their economy. Example building more property. Hence, it is not surprise if they invest into solar infrastructure. China has created the biggest dam for hydro. Now they are floating solar panel in the dam.
