helloo ...dividend reporting was in Nov 2013 ...wait till 4th Qtr in Nov 2014 maybe got dividend lah hahahahahhahahahah ....Hovid normally gives final dividend and not interim
HOVID Bhd is a beneficiary of the weak ringgit because half of its revenue is derived from export sales, which are predominantly quoted in US dollar, CIMB Research said in a report.
As such, the research house said, Hovid remains its top pick for the company's exposure to the Malaysian healthcare sector.
CIMB advised investors to add Hovid shares, and the research firm has set a 43 sen price target for the stock.
"Potential re-rating catalysts are increased product registrations in its export markets and stronger second-half earnings," CIMB Research said in the report.
It said increased registrations of Hovid's drugs in its export markets will spur demand and this will help widen its profit margin and lead to higher profitability.
CIMB Research said Hovid's strong long-term earnings growth prospects are good in the pharmaceutical market in Malaysia.
Its key export destinations are set to grow at double-digit rates, driven by ageing populations and greater access to healthcare services and medicines.
Who is expected to sell at this price. Is is David Ho? Maybe, if he needs the money. Otherwise why sell at this price it has not appreciated in price for a long time. This is a under valued stock, in the right industry and making profits.
I once owned both Hovid. Yspsah & Supermax Shares. Of the 3 companies I have seen medical products with labels from Supermax (medical gloves) & YspSah (generic medicine) in Singapore Govt Hospitals. Lately, I have seen Hovid medical products used in Malaysian Clinics & Hospitals.
These are some facts about Hovid.
Since PM Najib has included Hovid as one of M'sia Economic Transformation Programs Much Attention Has Been Diverted to Hovid. So Hovid price has moved up steadily.
However, the price has moved ahead of its fundamental due to the hype. And also the promotion of CIMB.
At the current price Hovid is rather expensive in comparison with YspSah (founded by a Doctor). So I think Insider is selling since Price is too good for now. Warren Buffet doesn't like Director/Insider selling own Shares.
YspSah is better than Hovid On All Counts - 1) Higher NTA 2)Lower P/E & 3) A consistent Dividend of yearly 6 1/2 Cts Dividend. So YspSah would be a better buy than Hovid.
Both YspSah & Hovid are recession proof counters.
So Hovid should be OK except a little overvalued & pricy.
Conclusion: Sorry to say this. CIMB's people are arm chair analysts dishing out advice with half baked ideas.
