As stated in the agreement, Mingkeda is required to fulfil a minimum order quantity (MOQ) of RM6 million worth of cookware in the first year of the agreement, RM13 million in the second and RM26 million in the third, while the MOQ for the fourth year is to be mutually agreed.
The Chinese company also has an MOQ of RM1 million worth of convex mirrors in the first year of the agreement, RM2 million in the second, RM5 million in the third and a mutually agreed amount in the fourth year.
“We expect China to contribute at least 50% of our total export sales in three years’ time. Currently, Japan is our largest export market at about 35%. Taiwan, Europe and Singapore are also our major export markets,”
