Sapura and Velesto are High Speed Trains. Meanwhile Barakah is like an old locomotive and she uses lots of coal to burn fire to run engine while bringing loads of debt.
FYI those former two used to be an old locomotive too. That’s why Barakah is also currently undergoing the process of upgrading and transformation. She needs a white knight to finance this work. Once she has completed with these exercises she will be another High-Speed Train in the ECRL Corridors. All she needs is for her shareholders to be patience and believe in her. As long as oil price remains bullish she will be back on her way to full recovery.
@kianweng123 mabel sealink now lagi kuat train like knm
Noted kianweng123 ..
I believe this one I purchased this morning lagi kuat. This morning I decided to buy SERBA DINAMIK HOLDINGS BHD.
We are expecting good news soon..
This O&G company SERBADK is the best manage bumiputera company in Bursa without any support from government
Won multiple contracts; outlook remain intact
• Secured multiple contracts worth up to USD60m. • Growth prospects look intact. • Trading at 12.6x consensus FY19 EPS.
What’s New? Serba Dinamik announced that:
1) Its wholly-owned subsidiary Serba Dinamik International Ltd has secured a operations and maintenance (O&M) contract worth USD60m (approximately MYR250.6m);
2) Its wholly-owned subsidiary Serba Dinamik S/B has secured a total of six O&M contracts. These contracts do not have specific value as they are on a “call-out” basis whereby work orders will be awarded at clients’ discretion. With these contract awards, Serba’s outstanding order book is expected to soar to approximately MYR8.5b, a step closer towards its MYR10b order book replenishment target for 2019.
Strong order book. More importantly, the latest job awards are O&M related, of which works are less susceptible to the fluctuation in oil price. Note that out of the outstanding order book (excluding these latest contract awards), O&M made up approximately 73% while EPCC accounted for 27%.
Growth prospects look intact. With the strong pipeline, Serba’s growth prospects look intact. Its outstanding order book is equivalent to ~2.3x its FY18 revenue. The street is forecasting a 14% 2-year EPS CAGR for FY18-21, also underpinned by management’s efforts to build up its asset base.
Assets. Under its stable, the group has: 1) a Compressed Natural Gas plant located in Sumatra, Indonesia; 2) water treatment plants in Kuala Terengganu (construction in progress); and 3) a 29.1MW hydropower plant in Kota Marudu Sabah (to commence operation in 4Q18); just to name a few.
Valuation. Brokers are positively biased on the stock with nine Buys and one Hold. The mean target price is MYR5.13. At current price, the stock is trading at 12.6x consensus FY19 EPS of 32sen, tad lower than its 2-year historical average P/E of 12.8x.
What was the best lesson you learned during stock market crashes?
Most people panic.
Those that don’t panic, never regret it. Those that do, regret it long-term.
Nobody can predict when crashes will happen.
Those few people who do predict crashes, get the next one wrong, so would be better as buy and hold investors.
I have yet to meet a successful long-term market timer. 1/100 maximum can do it
The financial media and also the non-financial media, trade off fear.
When markets hit record highs, the media barely mentions it. Whenever there is a sell off. it is reported in the most sensational terms. `1,000 points drop` rather than a 4% drop. If there is a real crash, documentaries are made!
Diversification works but not over-diversification.
Markets tend to recover quickly. 1–7 years typically.
The public mistakes volatility for stability and safety.
However, things are slowly changing. More people are learning about the importance of buying and holding, rather than buying and trading
Hi Mabel....I really admire you... when everyone is down and disheartened, you will still write positive comments and give everybody hope.. cheers to you....
It's a temporary set back since many players decided to sideline. It's not only this counter, it's across the board...many has no more money to pump...
Patience is a bitter plant, but its fruit is sweet.
So just HOLD what you got !
Sumatec is in far more worst conditions but those guys really knows how to create excitements!
SERBADK is a typical example of good quarter result, good prospect but the share price is drop on the next day trading after good quarter result announce. So that is why share market is inefficient and only those who can see it will make big money
TWO days ago everyone is excited seeing the QR out wow wow wow as a investor I expect to see some shows next day but u can see no hoohaa whole day.
I can tell u today is not about retailer like u and me selling, is all those big funds that sell..
I agree, bottom line buy anything and hold it forever. As long as you don't sell you don't lose anything..
My typical benchmark is Sumatec. They are still around and kicking..
Serba is currently trading at a grossly undervalued FY20F PE of 12x vs. 34x for Dialog Group – Serba’s closest peer with a recurring income profile in the oil and gas sector.
This book is the result of the author's many years of experience and observation throughout his 26 years in the stockbroking industry. It was written for general public to learn to invest based on facts and not on fantasies or hearsay....
