There had been a lot of unwarranted fear over the past week causing many to panic first rather than think through that it is not all gloom and doom. In my view, the past week especially last Friday and today was a great opportunity to buy in.
The US economy is gaining stronger growth traction and that will be good for the global economy and the global market will soon be heading higher in the fourth quarter.
the future growth of this company hopefully in line with the modern development especially with regard to be to secure the waste disposal system, so far the system are use in singapore changi army base, sentosa complex etc , in malaysia in Bandar Tasik SElatan bus terminal , klia 2 ,kastam kompleks , and hopefully when the fast train kl singapore terminals being built it also will take up this sistem . Solid concession business, net cash, .Early this years got the concession renewed . There is delay of course in dishing out dividen since they just got the contract this year and alot of paper work , adjusment, negotiation , approval in scale of fees etc, I am confident the dividen is forthcoming otherwise can give a good bashingat the coming AGM soon before end of year, ha haha
Dear KUN,enter with high price but no worry cause value stocks will found its way to the moon once results is proven. You are still have the chance to make 100% by one year if q result is good.
Haha.KUN,it is not a dream if the result proven and thats the truth of value investing. If 100% is excessive for one year, then I have Gopro (since IPO,likely throw if next quarter result not satisfy my criteria),Alibaba (core hldg hold till next bubble) and Nevro (hold since IPO),Under Armour (still holding, bought bout 1.15 years ago),and Davita Healthcare partners (since 1.12 years ago).Have a look.
For Malaysia,I have L&G LA,Zelan,Sona,PJDEV WC,Fututech,Ireka,BIMB WA which likely to have 50-100% gain within half-1 year.
So we must have faith in AWC.if the result is good,I do no see even why RM 0.90-RM 1.00 is not possible. But we must discount the returns as depreciation of M'sia Ringgit, haha, agree bo.
At 34.5 sen, the stock is trading at just about its book value of 35 sen with a trailing 12-month P/E ratio of 10.8 times. Notably, the stock is backed by large net cash of RM 40.5 million, or a significant 52.1% of its market capitalisation of RM77.8 million. http://www.theedgemarkets.com/my/article/stocks-momentum-awc
one of the reasons could be weak holders liquidating to cover losses at other counters, no new buyer to drive up the price, not time yet to goreng by the .....and the geng, those who had entered below .32 are liquidating to take profit, as far as the company is concerned nothing unusual,AGM on the 12 Dec. Just wait for CNY or end of ramp up...
Ya time to buy more ...forward PE is kinda cheap at 5x for cash rich company..Moreover low oil price favoured AWC since they engaged with transportation sector ..
AWC business is secured, concession ,contract business with government premises nothing to do with world or US economy, not likely to be affected if the economy slide into contraction in malaysia. It is a close business no excuse to be running into losses.
shit counter, cash reduced RM19m... just 1Q. Shareholder like Abu Hasan is actually disposing and not buying, thus explain the weakening share price. On paper and announcement... acquisition.. actually disposal lah. Wake up!! why invest in counters whereby shareholders are actively playing with share??? bluechip counter got meh? NO.. only small ikan bilis counter!!
same play been done to jadi , jaskita, but their price back to square one, even worst th heavy ,sumatec ,pmcorp, compare to awc still got steam ma. pick your choice chums or dump it into Abu hands..
my choice already reflected in AWC's major shareholders. They are selling, if not price wont come down so drastic. I have seen so many small counters, when their shareholders bought, share price will eventually came down. AWC is no exception here
may be major share holder sold the share at high price around 36 and above and now buying back or collecting back the share at lower prices around 30 to 32, just my 2 sen opinion,.. lock profit at high price and get bigger shareholding at lower price.. sound logical.. esp , for co showing good financial report..
scrutinise the top 30 shareholders in 2013 and compare to who are the shareholders on 17 oct 2014.. almost 80 % of the name are new shareholders. That means 80% those 2013 top 30 shareholders had sold their stake at above 32 sen , Now we have a group of brand new shareholders who have bought above 32 sen. Anytime price drop below 30 is a real bargain. , cos who ever is selling is running out cash .Real good entry for shrewd investor and where to park your money. after all par value at 30 , nav 36, and sitting on cash and little debt , with secured concession business for another 10 years
This book is the result of the author's many years of experience and observation throughout his 26 years in the stockbroking industry. It was written for general public to learn to invest based on facts and not on fantasies or hearsay....
