The Company’s workforce is made up mainly of local (Malaysian) workers. During the pandemic, when the Government had instated the national lockdowns (known as the Movement ControlOrder, MCO) and businesses were ordered to limit or stop operations altogether, most of ATA’s local workers had chosen to leave the Company in favour of pursuing gig work.
After the MCO was lifted, these workers chose to continue working in various gig economy jobs, such as in malls, theatres, restaurants, as well as logistics.
Remark: ATA IMS not only facing foreign worker issue, but also failed to retain local worker, presumbly due to very poor management. Those chase high today, hoping for Dyson reinstate ATAIMS contract will face tumbling price tomorrow.
ATA considers all key issues closed and, as it steps up on its ESG efforts and works towards better ESG initiatives, the Company reiterates that it is firm in its commitment to continueworking closely with the Government, the Ministry of Human Resources, and relevant bodies this is space.
ATA hopes for all parties to be fair and to await the response from the offices of the AttorneyGeneral of Malaysia on the revocation of the summonses by JTK Johor Bahru; and to consider ATA’s remedial measures in ensuring the wellbeing of its local and foreign workforce; and to maintain a neutral and balanced position in reporting of the Company.
Remark: ATAIMS statement blame all other factors. Such arrogant ATAIMS management statement indeed derseve Dyson termination
15-Dec-2021 Insider DATO' FONG CHIU WAN (a substantial shareholder) acquired 169,800 shares on 14-Dec-2021. 15-Dec-2021 Insider DATO' FONG CHIU WAN (a company director) acquired 169,800 shares at 0.540 on 14-Dec-2021.
Dyson, privately owned by British billionaire James Dyson, said it received the results of an audit of working conditions at ATA in early October. It said it had also learned in September about allegations from a whistleblower about "unacceptable actions" by ATA staff and had commissioned a law firm to investigate those claims.
"Despite intense engagement over the past six weeks, we have not seen sufficient progress and have already removed some production lines," Singapore-headquartered Dyson said in response to questions from Reuters.
"We have now terminated our relationship with six months' of contractual notice. We hope this gives ATA the impetus to improve, and enables an orderly withdrawal in the interests of the workers that they employ."
Remark: Dyson did it own audit to investigate ATAIMS, Dyson fed up with ATAIMS poor manegemnt response, thus, decided to terminate contract.
Based on 2 statement issue by ATAIMS, solely claim and blame external factors that casue and resulted current issue, without self resposebilitiy....indeed deserve slap by dyson
As always ,jealousies sour grapes rear its ugly heads whenever its price goes higher! Keeps recycling on old news to distort actual facts.Be sensible and have some patience to allow the process to unveiled truths!
We knew what happening.. Can check my previous comment above then think of it.. You will understand what is going on and going to happen.. Sharp won't push up to loss money, they push up to take profit, so those chase high and trapped money all sharp makan.. Over 30% of employee resigned, and Dyson stopped contact, until June 2022 will terminate all, I don't see any reason it can go up beyond 70 cents, or max can go may be 80cents, but reasonable price should be 40cents to 70 cents fifo these few months.. Than after march 2022 will be 35cents to 60cents fifo, invest with full knowledge why the price movement like this and that, like glove counter, all we already expected will down back.. As over supply, less demand, over competition.. Everything must make sense and logic.. If not your money once trapped then will be forever trapped.. Invest need to decide when to in and when to out, wether in future price will still come around for you to run once trapped.. Good luck

Dyson said it had commissioned an audit of working conditions at ATA IMS earlier this year, the results of which were received on Oct 4.
In addition, it was informed in September of a whistle-blower making allegations about unacceptable actions by ATA IMS staff and immediately commissioned an international law firm to undertake a further investigation, Dyson said.
"Despite intense engagement over the past six weeks, we have not seen sufficient progress and have already removed some production lines," Dyson said in a statement to Reuters. "We have now terminated our relationship with six months of contractual notice."
ATA IMS did not immediately respond to a Reuters' request for comment.
