the cotango for aluminium is very huge. There is a chance this rally in price can touch USD 2100!!!
It just need USDollar to weaken by 1 to 2%,, then price will shoot up

Today PMETAL-CT is a new call-warrant issued by Ambank. Just like what happened to HengYuan-CA and Petron-CD (by RHB on 3 August 2017), the investment banks which issue the call warrants will support their prices for the first three days (for both the mother shares and the call-warrants). PMETAL will rally for another two more days.

Dear Bamforte, PMETAL is the producer of pure aluminium, so if the price of aluminium goes up, its profit will go up. Not like LBALUM and ARANK which used aluminium as raw material. So, if the price of aluminium goes up, the profits of LBALUM and ARANK will be affected.

pmetal is upstream aluminium producer. doing smelting and some extrusion, if aluminium going up the price of alumina also going up. but because you sell aluminium at higher price pmetal actually benefit from that. for arank and lbalum they are sister company, and it is not a problem for them if aluminium is expensive, they will always transfer the cost to end customer... moreover they are indirectly benefited... you can read arank annual report for more info....

Bamforte ...For further info you can ask moneykj and telundansi... they are the sifu here.... hunger also quite a lot of info.... moneykj even have a formula on how LME aluminium price and USD affect pmetal... you can see some ealier post... if you wish to know more... RHB research paper on pmetal is quite detail... don just see the TP.... i am holding Pmetal for 1 and half year... never stop adding bit by bit...
