This stock has all good assets especially the toll roads in KL and property development near Johor Bahru.
Johor property related play theme benefits all property stocks except Ekovest.
Won RTS link project in Johor Bahru.
All these projects are not factored into the share price.
Really disappointed with this stock, the worst part is the share price is below 0.50 like a penny stock.
May be it is the worst stock in the construction sector despite won RTS link project contract.
Very sad if you buy this stock.
Hope good luck will shine on this stock soon.

Hi all Sifu-sifu here, anyone know why Ekovest's finance cost can be so high, RM112mil per quarter.
If annualised it, it will become RM450mil per annum.
If refer to the latest QR, they have around RM6bil borrowing (bank borrowing + Mid Term note).

RM450mil / RM6bill = 7.5%.

I think this is too high, as a listed company, they should have better bargaining power to secure low interest loan (i.e. can get financing from low interest country like Japan, China, Middle East, KWSP).

What you need to know is whatever came down will goes up. Who knows WCT will limit up recently? I believe the company has good assets and good prospect especially next 4 years with the mega project going to drop in Johor. At current price is a no brainer buy call. You dont have to make noise here hoo haa hoo haaa to talk bad about this company. It will sure bounce one day. Just collect and be patient. Who thhe heck know ytl power can shoot up all time higj > rm5. And why dont u buy it when the price was only 0.7-0.8? When ekovest shoot to 1.20 then u will say aisehhh... i wanted to buy at 0.4++ but but but.... there is no but in share market. What u need to do is just buy and sit back. Trading wont bring you far but investment can!
