Whether you are using the 50-day, 100-day, or 200-day moving average, the method of calculation and the manner in which the moving average is interpreted remain the same.

A moving average is simply an arithmetic mean of a certain number of data points. The only difference between a 50-day moving average and a 200-day moving average is the number of time periods used in the calculation. The 50-day moving average is calculated by summing up the past 50 data points and then dividing the result by 50, while the 200-day moving average is calculated by summing the past 200 days and dividing the result by 200.

As the question implies, many technical traders use these averages to aid in choosing where to enter or exit a position, which then causes these levels to act as strong support or resistance.

Sourgrape and crazy mouse take the chance of Bursa close today to spout more lies. Yesterday when it was going up they keep quiet. Today they keep spouting nonsenses. Maybe they still want to IDSS for tomorrow.

Energy index is always a leading indicator to Plantation index in Bursa.
Energy index is bullish and breaks out.
Fund will rotate and flow into plantation index.
Plantation is still lagged and will follow suit.
Look at their comparison chart historically and you will know what will plantation index paints in 2023.
Yes, bullish and breaks out.

What happen when WHO 1st call for fight against trans fat in 1990s.

In the 1990s, U.S. and E.U. regulators moved to ban unhealthy trans fat, a type of fat found in partially hydrogenated oils, from foods. Manufacturers turned to palm oil as a cheap and effective substitute. From 2000 through 2020, E.U. palm oil imports more than doubled, while U.S. imports shot up almost tenfold. Many consumers didn’t even notice the switch.

https://www.who.int/news/item/23-01-2023-five-billion-people-unprotected-from-trans-fat-leading-to-heart-disease
Now WHO new call for total ban in less wealthy country.
These countries are populous .Far more consumers than developed world.
Removing trans fat from their product will increase palm oil demand greatly.

Publicinvest analysis was on non-adjusted chart. On adjusted basis, if today can close at $1.12 or higher, it will be higher than the adjusted high on 30-Nov-2022, mean uptrend technically and may test $1.17 and $1.27 in the near term.

Good vibes for palm oil and wind of change.

Palm oil is actually not that bad (anymore)
Palm oil once destroyed orangutan-filled rainforests in Southeast Asia. Now, the industry is cleaning up its act.

A political agreement has been reached on the European Union’s due diligence legislation, and sustainable palm oil organisation Roundtable on Sustainable Palm Oil (RSPO) is supportive. Yet challenges and risks exist, explains Ruben Brunsveld, deputy director of EMEA.
