The warrants are your rights to buy from the Company the csl shares by paying RM1/-each before the expiry date.for eg,party A got 51% shares and Party B got 95% shares plus 95% warrant.Party B use 7% warrant and convert to CSL shares.Now PARTY B has 58% shares .Party A got 51% plus only 5% warrant converted to CSL shares,he got only 56%,he still will lose to Party B bcos he controlls all the warrants(95%),he can keep on converting his warrants to outbid the other party,Wahaha do you get me.

For a takeover raid Mr CF can exercise his warrants righs to ward off the takeover,do you catch me,so to takeover you must have control the warrants so that CF cannot increase his stake in the meeting.That why so companies are giving warrants to protect themselves form hotile takeover.

Both equal shares, the the company will be richer by nearly RM600mln/-,CF got to pay RM450MLn and you pay only RM150MLN and got the mother shares at 19c.I think he will sit down and talk and won't exercise the warrants.You got a better chance to control bcos it is too much for him
