If KLCI has no sign of getting below 1700 by July, then there is no point to buy more. It could end up losing the entire fortune if we have no realization to step on the brake. *sigh*, help me !!!
According to the chart, FBMKLCI is just entered the short term bullish sign. 200 day moving to average haven't break, still have chance to continue downtrend in the mid to long term. But I think second half of 2015 will stay above 1850
guys.mind to ask how to trade this counter. lets say the expiry date is today. conversion price is 1880 and current index is 1840. so i gt positive 40. then divide by 667 is 0.06. so i multiply with lets say 10000 unit and i get a profit of 600?? lets say i enter at 0.04..so i earn 200 out of this? am i right? pls enlighten me.
Inquisitor: Thank you for the detailed explanation.
What about if the value of the warrant is negative. Take for the instance, FBKLCI-HH the strike price is 1800. (1800-1818.27)/667 = (0.0274). What does it mean then?
Does the expiry of the warrant play a role in valuing the warrant?
Now i know what is the timing to sell and buy index stock.. today is the day to sell index stock because this put warrant is expiring date and got big player push it up. to buy index stock at low price make sure the index call warrant is expiring date.
expire at what index level will determine whether got big player push it up or not, sometime the big player is the market maker not the retail investor~
