Then i think panic sell is one thing, other might worry about balance payment and the finished good (if yet to ship to lordstown) etc.. Not big deal but definitely will have impact
Meanwhile at Greatech level, the group has collected RM161m out of RM250m from Lordstown. The balance of RM90m will be collected by Aug and Oct21.
Understand that Lordstown will raise another round of fresh capital and we believe that the existing cash of US$587m is suffice to pay the remaining US$25m to Greatech.
Additional info: On the first five years of operations, Tesla burned usd5b. Taking cue from this, USD635m raised by Lordstown is definitely not enough for Working Capital. Understand that there could also be some changes at Lordstown group level.
Meanwhile, Greatech's robust growth is still intact and imminent and this should come from First Solar and more contracts from its 4th new EV customer.
Any weakness in the share price presents a good BUYING opportunity. Maintain BUY, with an unchanged TP of RM7.20.
today trading volume over 16mil, this is not small number and sure some big shareholder is dumping the stock not just small fish. Ripple impact the stock will continue stay low for this week till the dust settle...

the Loadstown reportedly does not have sufficient cash in the WSJ report raise eyebrow of investors in Greatech, huge impact to Greatech share price today where many investors adopted to let go the share and a wait sideline until situation is clear.
Lordstown motors is Greatech major customer which contribution is expected to be approx 50% of FY2021. Investors shall take note of the potential impact if this new start up has a jam start to deliver as promise. They've run into financial trouble that is been reported in above link.
the CEO did not give detail on how they will not affect Greatech, just a marketing talk...this single customer accounted 50% of company revenue as matter of fact.
I see no problem. If Lordstown ran out of money, then Greatech will say goodbye and move on. And nothing will affect the revenue. Chances are, Lordstown will raise money from investors and voila we are back
