FITTERS

Stage 2- Accumulation which is still very bullish. Now it is going through some consolidation with healthy volume. May found a new bottom at 0.955. A break above 1.05 with volume, it is expected to test its previous high 1.13.and the resistance 1 at 1.09. Support 1 is 0.985 and strong support at 0.955. Cut loss if 0.955 is violated

Agree with you that dark cloud has formed and possible of a consolidation but watch for tmr's volume and candle to determine the
direction. However the trend is still intact. It is still bullish as its stil trading along the upper bollinger band.

Immediate resistance is now at 0.74;0.775 & 0.815.
Support can be found at 0.69 and 0.665.
Happy trading.

Hi Sunshine96,

SUPERMX:
Very bearish. It is actually at stage 4 of the cycle which should be avoided at all cost as it is on downtrend direction. You can see the big pull back with lower highs and lower lows since the highest point at $3.08 on 11/02. For the last few days, it is moving sideways at the support of $2.16. If the price goes up, the immediate resistance will be at $2.26 following with $2.33. Please note that if it manages to break above the downtrend line @ $2.33, it still needs to clear lots of overhangs.
The momentum does not seem to be picking up at the moment. If break below $2.16, the immediate support will be @ $2.12 with main support @ $2.06. Cut loss if $2.06 is violated.

Please note the the best cycle to trade on is at cycle 2 where it is on uptrend bullish movement.

Happy trading.

Skpetro

I did read the chart on Jun 11, 2014

Stage 3- distribution. It is just violate the long term up trend few more weeks ago. The support is very strong at 3.97. On 10/6 and 11/6, the price is open higher than previous closing price indicate price reversal. Price will further test 4.20 and test 4.27. Need to break 4.35 to be trend reversal.

On Jun 20 at 11.30 am

Stage 2- Accumulation which is very bullish. The price has already break 4.35 and the trend is reverse to upward trend. It breakout the strong resistance at 4.4 with volume. If the 4.4 hold (need to see the closing price today), it is expected to re test the previous high of 4.8 and beyond with next resistance at 4.56. Congratulation, you are on a winner, but do remember to set a Trailing Stop to protect your profits in case there is a big pullback.

tsy88 - Pasdec is consolidating. Its immediate support is at 0.84 with further support at 0.76. A few candles with subsequent lows does not necessarily signify a trend reversal. Its bullishness remains. No stock can trend higher and higher non stop with no breathers in between.

Hi Tiongms,

FPI:
Bullish with positive momentum and upward trend. It managed to finally break the resistance level of $1.00 yesterday (formed due to the gap down occurred on 28/06/10) after 3 attempts of breaching but failed to sustain on 16/04, 22/05 and 18/06. Today’s price movement so far looks like profit taking day and could be taking a breather after days of upward price movement. It needs to break $1.04/$1.05 level to fill up the previous old gap down first before it can move further up. Following resistance would be at $1.07 and then $1.10.
If it breaks below 1.01, it will find immediate support at 0.955 and 0.93. Exit if 0.915 is violated.

Happy trading.

lottolearn - Thank you for your kind words earlier. We do encourage you to pick up TA along the way if you are not already into it as it will help when trading.

I will address Sona while my team mates will take on Dbhd and Melati later.

Before we get into the gist of it, it is important to know that here, we do not advise you what action to take and neither do we recommend to you what stocks to buy. But we can present to you with the technical readings and share information in order for you to make an informed judgement on your next course of action. The final decision rest with you.

Also, we do not recommend traders to average down. Once a trend is broken, no one can predict how far the correction can go, hence, the famous saying "never catch a falling knife".

Sona:

Lz Lee Weiping's reading on 19/6:
-weekly chart shows double tops formation with a high of 0.62 and with a low of 0.475
-broken support level of 0.515
-has a resistance of 0.535, 0.555, 0.62
-support level of 0.5 and 0.485

Update reading (20/6):

It is currently testing the 0.50 support that Lz Lee specified and it seems to have found temporary support here for the time being. If this support is broken, it will test the next support level at 0.485 and subsequently the critical support at 0.475. Should 0.475 be further broken with volume, it will trend towards 0.44. These are the support levels that you need to monitor and decide along the way your position on the stock. The resistance levels should the stock trends up, will be as per those set out by Lz Lee.

The following are considerations you may want to look at:
1. what is your time frame for holding this stock now. Short, medium or long term.
2. do you want to wait to see how the QA pans out and its impact on the financial position of Sona.
3. you may want to set an exit price to cut loss in case the stock turns severely against you.
4. what is your risk profile.

These are just some of the considerations. Hope this helps.

Posted by lottolearn > 2014-06-20 22:27 | Report Abuse

profitMan, Thanks for your analysis in Sona. If i have known TCB earlier i would not have average down..When the stock is coming down my friend told me to buy more because there is a sifu asking him to buy more. My friend does not answer my phone anymore, i believe he is burned like me on Sona.

Your statements on Sona:

The following are considerations you may want to look at:
1. what is your time frame for holding this stock now. Short, medium or long term.
2. do you want to wait to see how the QA pans out and its impact on the financial position of Sona.
3. you may want to set an exit price to cut loss in case the stock turns severely against you.
4. what is your risk profile.

1) I bought because my friend told me one sifu in I3 asked everyone to buy, it is suppose to shoot sky high soon from $0.60..
2) What is QA?
3)At the price i bought, what is my exit price? I bought at $0.60 and buy more at $0.55.
4) I understand there is risk in stock market, but after reading most of TCB eralier post i should have sold right?

I am confuse should i wait or sell now.

Sorry to bother you profitMan, I am caught by many counters following my friend advices..

Thanks

MELATI:
-bullish, breakout from a small rounding bottom
-the breakout point was 1.32
-support level of 1.34, 1.32 and 1.29
-resistance level of 1.42 and 1.4
-if it breaks 1.42 with volume then it will head north to an uncharted region
-if the resistance can't be broken it will probably consolidate
-TP is 1.4 and 1.46
-stop-loss at 1.12

lottolearn - Sona:

I do understand your position. In fact, I have been caught big time during my early days of trading. I will try to shed light on the issues that you raised.

Briefly, Sona is an SPAC (Special Purpose Acquisition Company)which means it is a shell company with no on going business concern. It needs to acquire a Qualifying Asset (QA) to become an ongoing business concern which was what they just did. I would suggest you research deeper into this subject to have a fuller understanding as it would be very lengthy to do so here.

To trade in stocks, it is best to have some understanding through research into the company and its price movements before investing. It is also important to know that no one can predict how high the price can go simply because the market is unpredictable. We can make an intelligent guesstimate as a guide but if the price turn against us, we must have an exit price in mind to sell off to take our losses early. Which means we need to draw up a trading plan before we move into the stock. On this, I would suggest you pick up TA (technical analysis) and also FA (Financial Analysis) knowledge via books or online.

Based on your info, I assume your average price is 0.575. You need to know how much loss from this price is tolerable to you. Based on the TA reading, 0.50 support is currently holding. If it drops below this on high volume, you could be looking at 0.485. So, a trader may want to set an exit price at 0.49 in anticipation that it may trend lower and to minimize further loss. Alternatively, if there is a technical rebound on the share, a trader will need to decide whether to exit at the first resistance price of 0.535 or take a bit more risk to exit at the next resistance of 0.555 or wait out to see if the stock trends higher. I am not suggesting that you start selling at these prices but that is roughly how we look at it. Of course, different traders have different trading strategies and may view it differently.

The general rule of thumb is to "maximize profits and minimize losses".

It is also important to note that Sona has transformed from an SPAC into an ongoing business concern although its revenue will only be recognized later when all formalities have been completed. Obviously the market has viewed it negatively, hence the drop in price. So, some traders may want to stay mid to long term on the stock to see how the QA works out financially on the company. Of course there is also a risk that the price may trend lower thereby increasing your paper loss. Please note that I am also not suggesting you stay invested.

You will need to assess your options and the risk involved with each options and decide what you want to do. From your current position, you will need to decide whether you now want to stay short, mid or long term on Sona. Yes, the market can be unpredictable and as Matrix always says, is a zero sum game.

Profitman -

I read with interest on your statement on general rule of thumb, that is to maximise profit and minimise losses. On most occassions, it is extremely difficult to adhere to it. Just like we should buy low and sell high on stocks we hold or trade in, a lot of people have the tendency to do exactly the opposite, me included! Somehow, greed is the culprit here.

I bought Pasdec at 0.865 and actually want to average if it trends lower but am having second thoughts now after reading your comments on averaging. You are right. Never catch a falling knife! Pasdec is still bullish even though it has retraced from its high of 0.93 owing to apparent profit taking and reckon it may resume it's uptrend.

I like to buy stocks when they go into unchartered tertitory and at times get caught when they undergo correction! May not be a wise thing to do but just cant resist the temptation especially when they keep scaling higher.

Just commenting on my current trading!

Regards.

SEACERA—After Hitting high of $0.975 on 15/05 Seacera consolidated to a low of $0.76, on 16/06 it breakout from its consolidation with a breakaway gap which start the bullish trend. It is forming a possible CUP and Handle pattern and a break above $0.88 with volume signal breakout and has bullish implication with an estimated target of $0.98 and beyond. Immediate strong resistance is at $0.88 (Neckline for C&H pattern), $0.92. Any weakness should find immediate support at $0.85/$0.84, strong support is at $0.82.
For short term traders you may want to set Stop Loss if $0.82 is violated with volume.
For mid term traders Stop Loss if $0.76 is violated with volume.

Note: I will be away til 7th July so might not be able to update my charts.

Old Stocks Update

1) BREM—Still consolidating between $2.05/$2.10 with strong support at $2.01.Formed a Doji Star last Friday, indecision. A break above $2.10 signals price reversal or vice versa if break below $2.05. Immediate Resistance is at $2.17/$2.23 if $2.10 is broken.

2) ENGTEX—Sideways movement, but still in bearish mood. It is still trying to fill the breakdown gap $0.1.93/$1.90 (The gap was partially filled at $1.92), unless this gap is filled it is expects to trade between $1.83 to $1.93.A break above $1.93 will find strong resistance at $1.98.

3) WCT—Sideways movement of $2.18 to $2.25. As mentioned earlier, I may cleared this counter soon after receiving the dividends. If break $2.25 next strong resistance is at $2.30 and immediate target at $2.35.

I will be away till 7th July might not be able to update the charts..

tsy88 - Thanks for sharing your thoughts. You are absolutely spot on. The principles of buy low sell high is a simple logical concept but extremely difficult to practice because of human greed and indiscipline. To those who follow Matrix trades, you will notice that discipline is his hallmark and that is why he is such a successful trader. Takes his losses when necessary and locks in profits when opportunity arises.

Taking losses is the most difficult part but once you have a trading plan and execute it to the letter, then it becomes part and parcel of trading and as time progresses, it becomes less painful to take losses when the trade work against us. As with everything else in life, the first time is always the most difficult.

Once the price reaches your target, lock in profits and take your money off the table. You can never buy at the lowest and neither can you sell at the highest. An egg in the basket is worth the 10 outside the basket.

Sephiroth/Cherry - thanks so much for sharing your thoughts and information. Really appreciate your contribution in helping others.

Sephiroth - just to add, the Sona info would be invaluable in assisting lottolearn. Thanks buddy.

lottolearn - if you read through sephiroth's comments, who is also a very successful trader himself, you will notice that he has a wealth of FA information. This is what I was referring to when i mentioned about researching into the company that you are buying in. Without information, some traders panic sells when they see the price falling without really knowing the reason why it fell which is why some stock become oversold. Equipped with information together with TA and FA knowledge, you can trade with more confidence and less stress.

I hope based on the above information you are able to overcome your Sona predicament.

MENTIGA:
Ascending scallop formation which indicates bullish momentum, it have a support levels of 1.13, 1.08 and 1.05; the resistance levels are 1.25 and 1.31. Usually, a buy signal is triggered when the price bottoms after retracing from the peak. By using the measure rule, the estimated breakout from the peak, 1.31, is 1.52 and estimate breakout from the valley, 1.00, is 0.78. Stop-loss at 1.00.

L&G
This stock have a support levels of 0.55/0.54 and 0.51 and a resistance levels of 0.585 and 0.625. It forms a descending triangle with a base of 0.54, this indicate a bearish momentum. After breakout from it's triangle on 16/06 it couldn't overcome the resistance of 0.585. So now it's trading inside a rectangle which is between 0.54/0.55 and 0.585. Stop-loss at 0.50.

SEAL
Bullish. Have a support levels of 0.945, 0.855 and 0.76. Resistance level is 1.02. If it break the resistance level of 1.02 it could head for an uncharted region. A doji has formed on 20/06 which signified indecision of the trades. TP is 1.1 and 1.16. Stop-loss at 0.75.

Lottolearn, i agreed with profitMan & understand your frustration on buying in Sona. Still i do not agree that you putting all the blames
to your friend for buying Sona.
You claim that your friend bought Sona bcoz some sifu in I3 asked him to buy.I personally feel that both of them mean good more than harm. When u buy it is solely your own decision.
Instead of blaming your friend or the sifu in I3, make a decision whether to take losses or hold..profitMan n sephiroth have given you a good analysis..
To start making money in stock market is to accept your mistake and move on..Blaming your friend or others v not helps.
