"Knowledge without discipline is dangerous, discipline without knowledge has little value"
1) We are here to help out any I3 members of their stock TA. If you need help on any stock chart just address us as “Dear TCB..”
2) We encourage traders to buy stocks with a trading plan. Before you buy please have a Stop Loss in case the stocks go against you.
3) We encourage traders to cultivate a winning habit, that is to lock in profits often when the opportunity arises. Be focused. We are here with one purpose only, that is to make money, never let a winning trade become a losing trade.
4) We encourage traders to set a Trailing Stop to protect their profits when riding on a winning trade.
5) We encourage other traders that have TA knowledge to participate and help out others on TA. In this way we all can learn together.
6) We will never recommend any stock in this thread as Buying and Selling is solely your own decision and your own risk.
7) We may post the stocks that we are interested in, together with a TA reading on it for the purpose of sharing. These TA readings are to cultivate habits of 'Discipline' and 'Plan' before trading .
Some remisiers have just cautioned that the 7 billion shares transacted on Wednesday will emerge and sell down the market on coming Monday and Tuesday. Kindly advise your thought. Will there be any sign from TA point of view?
jm678 - I suppose you can look for signals by analyzing the volume and the emas index and small cap shares index. My personal view is that those short term traders who bought in on the panic sell wave could have taken profits when the counters rebounded. So, there could be residual selling pressures on Monday or Tuesday. I am not so sure if you will see a big sell down on Monday or Tuesday but I may be wrong.
Matrixcool - did not see your posting till now. Had I known, would not have jumped in. I bought Alcom this morning at 1.15. Closed at 1.12, at its lowest for the day but not a drastic pullback. Today is forced selling for high of 1.27 done on this Monday. Hopefully comes back after forced selling.
ALCOM : Q at 1.12 in the morning, but forget to cancel the order, even after saw the matrixcool posting...arrr...what to do....hope to see rebound on Monday...anyhow...I must saw thanks to Matrixcool for your kind sharing...thanks bro
Just for sharing purposes, for those who are in contra, please trade within your means. ...do not go beyond lines...Greedy can be the deadliest part of life...look for more fundamental counter for investment...nothing is guaranteed...cheers

profitman / matrix - just for my learning curiosity. As you know when say, PDZ and Sumatec was having a great run many TA practitioners are saying it will go up further ans setting TP. They reached new hihgs (PDZ 42 sen and Sumatec 92 sen) on Tuesday. My question is when the downtrend started from the high, was there any TA readings to indicate at which points one should get out. Thanks in advance !
tsy88 - like I mentioned based on yesterday's movement, the selling on PDZ and Sumatec is not over yet although at times the prices go up. However today's selling has scaled down (just my observation). Did some trades today - sold 50% AAX CL at 9 sen (bought at 7.5 sen yesterday - will keep the rest up to 14 or 15 sen as advised by rchi). Also cleared Ecofirst for a 1 sen gain since announcement is out. Bought into PTB at 18.5 sen (holding on). Had good intra gains from Nihsin (mentioned yesterday). Spotted GLB in the morning but hesitated to go in and then all of a sudden it went up so fast. Missed it.

Re Ptb - has been holding this stock at 10.5 for so long. Very stubborn and only really moved this year. Cant chase as it has tendency to pull back!
Aax Cl - did not know that you bought at 7.5 yesterday. Today I forgot about it and it was already 8.5/9 when I saw and did not want to chase at that level.
Ghl - up for the second day with substantial gain like yesterday.
Nihsin - congrats. Think you made quite a few rounds from this counter as with Ijacobs too with substantial gains. Must be another of your favourite stocks.
Bull or bear, you certainly possess the luck and right timing to transact your fun quick trades and mostly with gains. Not the case for me though.
Well done. KEEP IT UP.
Have a wonderful weekend with your family. Good night.
profitman - my sincere apologies. I was the one who overlooked your answer. Sorry again.
You are right I do have an "exit plan" which is unlike TA which you pre-set. Once I sensed that the price is reversing or that the market sentiment is losing strength I just sell since with any pre-set cut loss prices or lock in profit prices. Probably it's due to all these years of trading and is working well for me.
Like I mentioned to tsy88 - I sold almost all my penny stocks on Tuesday before the massive sell down on Wednesday and on Wednesday morning I also cleared some medium-hold stocks.
There were a few occasions in the last, probably 10 years, once the volume hits a new record very significantly, a sell down is imminent int he next day and the situation will last a few days to a few weeks before the sentiment returns.
Good night and thanks for your input to my question again.
sy88 - yes luck is definitely a factor in all forms of gaming but in shares one also needs to have some sense of logic and do some study before trading blindly. I also have the benefit from years of experience. Of about the 1,200 counted listed (excluding warrants)probably I would have traded in about 800 stocks and thus whatever company that crops up I roughly have an idea what it does, the FA of the company, it's high and low etc. It helps save time in my analysis. Good night.
Inwest88 - no problem. No need to apologize. There are quite a number of comments here and its easy to miss out. Your experience instinct is invaluable and I suppose it takes years and years to acquire, something that cannot be learned from any textbook in the world. But these instincts are the best skills anyone can hope to have.
tsy88@sorry sis :D I didn't mention Alcom downtrend ler...I am asking about samudra,hihi...seem like going down...should we accumulate on the weaknesses now?
hehe, something came into my head this forum...This is very well manner/discipline forum where ppls can speak out freely without feeling offended...no sarcastic & every post was reply with dignity/respect...thumbs up...RESPECT,everyone's here!just my personal feeling ;D
