"Knowledge without discipline is dangerous, discipline without knowledge has little value" 1) We are here to help out any I3 members of their stock TA. If you need help on any stock chart just address us as “Dear TCB..” 2) We encourage traders to buy stocks with a trading plan. Before you buy please have a Stop Loss in case the stocks go against you. 3) We encourage traders to cultivate a winning habit, that is to lock in profits often when the opportunity arises. Be focused. We are here with one purpose only, that is to make money, never let a winning trade become a losing trade. 4) We encourage traders to set a Trailing Stop to protect their profits when riding on a winning trade. 5) We encourage other traders that have TA knowledge to participate and help out others on TA. In this way we all can learn together. 6) We will never recommend any stock in this thread as Buying and Selling is solely your own decision and your own risk. 7) We may post the stocks that we are interested in, together with a TA reading on it for the purpose of sharing. These TA readings are to cultivate habits of 'Discipline' and 'Plan' before trading .

Inwest88 - both Pdz and Sumatec staged a very strong comeback today and closed at their highs. Should continue to move up again tomorrow. Also find Zelan nice.

Matrixcool - feel like Smrt's consolidation is not over yet. Wanted to enter today but noticed it is still encountering some selling pressure and so did not buy. Will monitor closely again tomorrow. My opinion only.

tsy88 - as I mentioned before I do not touch counters like Gkent / Johan and the Berjaya group. Yes. PDZ and Sumatec staged a rebound but I reckon the selling has not stopped especially the former. I would prefer to go for Ijacobs and Nihsin - solely based on my observation. Emico and Dataprep are both losing money - only okay for quick trades.

AAX Cl looks tempting at this level.

Inwest88, thank you. I have a lot to learn from you. Indeed selling is the hardest part. Sometimes a winning stock becomes a losing stock out of greed.
R177, we are blessed to have Matrixcool, emails us even with his tight schedule. And TCB, a house full of saint and angels, pen a loving question and you'll get the stock analysis done.

Inwest88 - yeah. Aax Cl looks very tempting indeed. Lowest level so far is 5.5. If it breaks 7, will definitely buy as downside risk is minimal.

Hi matrix , by the way I would like to seek your consent in including me in your mail list. Though I do not use TA it would be a very good reference and if my pick is favourable according to the charts it will reinforce my confidence. Anyway learning is a never ending process and definitely I have no qualms in gaining knowledge .

jm678 - Seal:

It has been consolidating under the dark cloud formed on 23/7 and has retraced 23.6%. Seems to have found good support around 1.28 while at the same time, it is unable to take out its 1.37 resistance. If the 1.37 resistance is broken with volume, it will re-test its high of 1.49. It is currently treading in an oversold territory. However, if the 1.28 support is broken with volume, it will trend towards the 1.16/1.17 support level. You may want to set a stop loss at 1.26/1.27.

pvd-investor- Instaco
Instaco is having a pullback and downtrending at this junture. Strong supports can be seen at 0.24 level at the 20MA. The next immediate supports will be 0.235 and 0.23. Any reversal with volume will bring this stk to a resistance of 0.255 and 0.265.
A stop loss if 0.23 is violated.
Happy trading.

cityplus - K1
Stage 4. Bearish. After a huge sell down since 14/08 until 20/08, it has now found a new bottom of 0.355. Immediate support at 0.365 and next support level is 0.355. Resistance level at 0.375 and 0.39. If you're planning to bottom fishing, exit if support level of 0.355 is violated.

jamesn - ZELAN
In correction mode. Have a support level of 0.375/0.370 and 0.355. Immediate resistance level of 0.405 and next resistance is 0.430. Judging by the volume, it might re-test it's resistance level of 0.405 and 0.430. Stop-loss if 0.355 is violated. TP of 0.48 and 0.50.

pvd-investor- Sona
Another interesting spac company which cannot reveal much till the QA has been approved by the SC.Not looking into FA of this stock but chart wise is downtrending and at a oversold position.
If you are going for bottom fishing, set a stop loss. Supports can be found at 0.49 and 0.48. A stop loss if 0.47 is triggered.
Since its at oversold situation any reversal might bring sona scaling back to a resistance of 0.51 and 0.53. It need to break the band at 0.55 level for it to scale higher.
Happy trading.

Profitman, Thank you very much for your advice. I am only reading financial reports and know nothing about TA. The reason I asked about Seal is because the last quarter results brought down its PE a lot. If this quarter result to be out this month repeats the history, its PE will be even lower and makes it very attractive. Thanks again and good night.

285investor - Astino:

On the daily chart, it has been trading sideways since July. It unsuccessfully attempted to break a new high on 19/8 and you can probably expect more sideway movement with a bearish undertone as it is trading with a price/RSI divergence. Currently has support at 1.72 with strong resistance at 1.90. If 1.72 support is broken, it will head towards 1.65.

We do not advise on buying/selling decisions. To hold or to cut loss depends on your investment time frame and you will also want to factor into your consideration, the bonus issue that you will be receiving. Short term traders may want to set a stop loss at 1.70/1.71. A quick glance at its financial statement revealed a fundamentally sound company.

madhas - Sinotop:

We are not in a position to advise you on buying and selling but we can lay out the factors for you to consider. This stock has broken out of its rectangle trading on 18/8. Support = 0.07 while resistance = 0.09. As it has been range bound for a long time, there is a lot of over hang with this stock. Unless there is a strong catalyst to propel its price onto another plateau, any increase in price could be met with investors trying to clear their position. Your remisier could be in possession of information that will catalyze the price movement in which case you will need to check back with him/her.

tsy88 - a dead cat bounce is basically a temporary, short lived recovery in price during the decline of a share. Yes, it has negative implications. After a long decline in a share, its price reverses up. It will appear as if the share has recovered with traders buying in thinking that the price has bottomed out only to find a continuation in the decline of the share when it reverses down and starts to form new lows.

Profitman -

My trading approach is terrible. Incurring heavy losses like Dolomite, reluctant to cut loss at times and buying high or even at the peak in most instances! At times clearing too fast when you should be riding on a winner for as long as you can with trailing stop set.

However, am so glad that I got to know TCB and now trying my best to minimise my losses and to have a trading plan before entering a trade. Have encountered enormous losses including paper losses in the past that at one time, I actually stopped trading for two years! Feeling more confident now with so much help and guiding fromTCB.

Just do not know how to express my gratitude to the whole team of TCB.

Good night.

profitman / matrix - just for my learning curiosity. As you know when say, PDZ and Sumatec was having a great run many TA practitioners are saying it will go up further ans setting TP. They reached new hihgs (PDZ 42 sen and Sumatec 92 sen) on Tuesday. My question is when the downtrend started from the high, was there any TA readings to indicate at which points one should get out. Thanks in advance !

Inwest88 - read from papers that one particular brokerage firm is imposing restrictions especially on margin traders on selective stock with others following suit. May dampen market sentiment.

inwest88 - yes, there are actually markers that traders set in all trades. As you maybe already aware, if we are riding on profits, the trailing stops that we set would protect our profits. In the Sumatec case, when the price falls from a high of 0.92, I would probably sell off at 0.88/0.89 if it reverses down. And if the price falls from the entry price, I would sell once it hits the stop loss price that was set before we enter the trade without a second thought. I noticed you have been trading this way too. So, it is very similar to your approach.

But what is most critical, as you have previously mentioned before, is the discipline to sell once it hits our trailing stop or stop loss and not trade on the Hope that the price will go up again. In Matrix word, don't let greed take over.
