It's pointless to wait for 2nd jab appointment! Why not just allow those who took 1st jab Astrazeneca to expedite their 2nd jab by doing walk ins! I mean after 4 weeks of 1st jab, they should get their 2nd jab!
That's why our mass vaccination rate has yet to hit 90%!

90% vaxx rate also cannot prevent against resurgence, if open up & loosen up everything so fast one

just look at what's happened to US, UK, Israel, Singapore etc.

Yeah, so it seems Astrazeneca cannot be given 4 weeks after 1st jab! Maybe 6 weeks then! I don't know! But let's speed it up! After than can always give booster shot later on!
Just hit 90% as quickly as possible!

Fortuneblooming! It appears Ptizer effectively drastically reduce after 3 months! But countries that went for Astrazeneca shown different result!
The other breakthrough is that, Merck has successfully tested a new antiviral drug that curb even variants of Covid! This is game changer scenario!
But we have to wait and see! Since many 3 phase thingy fail to get approval, example antiviral spray!

UK used UK-made AZ, tobby

but covid still raging in UK, even with 85% vaxx rate

Singapore could hit 5-digit daily infection rate in around couple weeks time, I have read, unless they go into very strict lockdown again.

No choice! Since we almost fully vaccinated anyway! Only 5% refuse to get jab! So Malaysia will fully open up soon!

Posted by FortuneBlooming > 2021-10-02 13:05 | Report Abuse

One just shudders thinking about what could happen in Malaysia next, with current bottddoh st00ppid kabinet gagal opting to open up & loosen up so fast, when current daily rates still in well over 5 digits range

My advise, those 5% get the jab! You will not be allowed to enter any business premises! My concern for Astrazeneca is that they are not allowed to enter since they have to wait for 2nd jab! Which is not fair to them! So, government need to hasten 2nd jab for them or allow them some leeway!

Fortuneblooming! We have no choice! We already into 4 months of lockdown! It's very damaging for our econonmy! But since rakyat have overwelming patriotic and got their vaccine, which 95%, but given 86% now as they need to wait for their 2nd jab!

So yeah, there's a gap of 10% here! I assume it's because of those taking Astrazeneca vaccine!

To think of it, 95% malaysians gone for their vaccine is quite remarkable!

Posted by FortuneBlooming > 2021-10-02 13:10 | Report Abuse

You sound so fantastically obsessed with this 90% figure, tobby

It doesn't mean anything, once we get into an upward spiral again like US, UK, Israel or Singapore.

And what makes you believe that Malaysians are more robust & more immune than the people of those countries?

It's safer to keep practising isolation & distancing, than to risk your safety by going into crowded areas, just becos you feel braver & stronger after vaxxing.

Government should quickly make adjustment for 2nd jab! No need for fix appointment! For those who took Ptizer, 3 weeks is enough for 2nd walk in jab! For Astrazeneca, i roughly guess 6 weeks should be sufficient for 2nd walk in jab! Doing it now as the volume of those going for 1st jab has gone down alot! So there's plenty of slots for 2nd jab walk ins!

If government doing it now, i think by monday, we should be passing 90% easily!
