A monotonous marriage is no doubt Christianity invention! Before Christianity spread to the rest of the world, having many wives was very normal!
In fact before Merdeka, many local chinese tycoons have up to dozen wives!
And many local chinese men who migrant to Malaya back before Merdeka have wifey or wives back in China but end up settling down with new wifey or wives here!

In Islam you can have 4 wives if you can afford it, according to their Koran! Yeah, sure, please joke about it but do remember, our great grandfathers were having many wives too!

What i am telling you guys is, having one wifey is a recent trend! No, i don't imply for you to have more than one wifey! In fact, in recent modern times, marriage and divorce goes hand in hand! If you fed up with your current wifey, you divorce her and marry a new wifey! It is what it is! That's the latest definition of monotonous marriage now!

So definition of marriage actually changes! I know! It's scary! Maybe for our greatgrandparents, having many wives is normal! Divorce was taboo! Now marriage and divorce has become acceptable norm!
And recently, mainstream media are glorifying same sex marriage!
