The head of JAKIM (Department of Islamic Development Malaysia) and the Minister of Religious Affairs must face consequences for their failure to properly oversee and prevent the existence of GISHB's gruesome activities in Malaysia. The responsibility of these positions is not only to uphold Islamic principles and safeguard the moral compass of the country but also to ensure that any activities undermining public safety and societal ethics are promptly addressed. In the case of GISHB, which has reportedly engaged in gruesome and immoral activities over several months, the failure to intervene raises serious questions about the competence and vigilance of the religious authorities. These bodies are entrusted with the moral and religious wellbeing of the nation, and negligence in this duty reflects a profound governance failure. If these activities were allowed to continue unchecked, it suggests either a lack of proper oversight or a dangerous complacency within these institutions. Holding the leadership accountable is vital to restoring public confidence in the institutions meant to protect societal and religious values. Without clear accountability, there is a risk of further erosion of public trust in religious authorities, which could have wider implications for societal cohesion and the respect for religious governance in Malaysia. By allowing GISHB's actions to persist, the authorities have inadvertently permitted a breach of moral and ethical standards that they are mandated to protect. Hence, both the head of JAKIM and the Minister of Religious Affairs must be held responsible for their failure to act decisively in the face of such grave violations.

KUALA LUMPUR, Oct 13, 2023 (Bernama) -- The government has allocated RM1.9 billion for the management and development of Islamic affairs in Budget 2024, says Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim.

He said this included the construction of two Islamic educational institutions, namely SM Integrasi Sains Tahfiz in Bukit Jalil and SMK Agama Jempol in Negeri Sembilan at a cost of RM220 million.

He said a total of RM150 million was also provided to the Department of Islamic Development Malaysia (JAKIM) to maintain and upgrade the infrastructure of Islamic educational institutions, including religious schools, and registered pondok and tahfiz institutions.

"To appreciate the services and great role of more than 70,000 religious teachers, imams and other religious staff at the community level, Anwar said the government agreed to provide a special increased contribution of RM700 directly to them, with an allocation of over RM50 million."

Let them get first. We Sarawakians are not stup*d. We are good at maths and counting. We'll claim nothing less next.

FAIR ALLOCATION OF TAX PAYERS' MONEY TO SARAWAK - AS EQUAL PARTNER. It is high time for each equal partner to Malaysia, specifically Sabah and Sarawak, to receive a substantial annual budget dedicated to the establishment of a new department akin to JAKIM (Jabatan Kemajuan Islam Malaysia), but instead, focused on the broader notion of spirituality for all Malaysians. This new entity, called JAKSIM (Jabatan Kemajuan Spirituality untuk Semua Malaysians), would represent a bold and inclusive step towards fostering national unity through a focus on spiritual well-being beyond specific religious boundaries.

And you see, while we Dayaks in Borneo watch the three main tribes fighting in peninsular, we win:

In a serene pond, three fish lived together in harmony, sharing the bounty of the waters. They were content, as food was plentiful, and the pond provided shelter and peace. But one day, as they swam in the clear waters, they began to notice that food was becoming scarce.

The first fish, full of pride, claimed that he had found a secret spot in the pond where all the best food could be found. The second fish grew jealous and demanded to know where it was. The third fish, seeing the growing tension, tried to calm them both, suggesting that they could share the pond as they always had.

But the quarrel only intensified. The first fish refused to reveal his secret, the second fish grew angrier, and even the third fish, once wise, became caught up in the conflict, fearing he might lose out on his share of food.

As the fish argued, a sly crab nearby overheard their fight. He approached them and offered to arbitrate, promising to fairly distribute the food among them if they would trust him. Desperate and blinded by their own greed, the fish agreed.

One by one, the crab took bits of food, telling each fish that he was mediating their dispute. But in reality, the crab was slowly consuming the fish's food, leaving them with almost nothing. By the time the fish realized what had happened, the crab had devoured most of their food, and the once plentiful pond was empty.
