Sapura Industrial Bhd's pre-tax profit for financial year ended Jan 31, 2012 rose to RM28.939 million from RM26.081 million in the same period in 2011.

Turnover increased to RM284.844 million from RM284.551 million previously,
the company said in a filing to Bursa Malaysia here today.

Moving forward, the group said it was cautious that market conditions for
automotive sector was expected to be more challenging in view of global market uncertainties.

It said the company would continue to intensify its efforts to further
strengthen its operational efficiency. -- Bernama
