Opcom Holdings Bhd's pre-tax profit for the first quarter ended June 30, 2012 declined to RM5.476 million from the RM9.638 million recorded in the same period last year.
Revenue slipped to RM26.725 million from RM33.051 million recorded previously, due to a decrease in customer demand for accessories, the company said in a filing to Bursa Malaysia.
Going forward, Opcom is positive over the group's performance in the remaining quarters of the financial year ending March 31, 2013, as the group has an existing FTTH Supply Contract with Telekom Malaysia Bhd. -- Bernama
