KL shares trade lower in early session

Shares on Bursa Malaysia were traded lower in the early session today as investors took cue from the overnight losses on Wall
Street, dealers said.

Fifty-five minutes into the opening, the FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) was 3.45 points lower at 1,795.24. It had opened at 1,795.38.

Losers led gainers 245 to 154, with 231 counters unchanged, 970 untraded and 16 others suspended.

Turnover was mild with 800.25 million shares valued at RM328.41 million traded.-- Bernama
