Since i join (not really) in this forum, I find that there are people who makes this site as a war arena. I feel funny that people trying to prove the other are wrong and they are right. This method is right, that method is wrong. If what we try to prove is right, i dont think we need to be in this public forum to make money. look at warren buffet, the world most successfull investor.

I watch quite a number of video about him and what he say. he also admit sometimes he makes mistake by buying into company that he thinks is worth the money. In the end, he lose money.

If we really is a superinvestor and having a portfolio, say 1million RM. I dont think 7% return per annum is difficult, right? or maybe 5%? if my calculation is correct, at least 5% per annum equal to 4kRM. That would be more than enough to live for a month right?

I'm a newbie in investing. For me, there is no right or wrong in doing things. it depends on your goal. If we wanted to have long term holding, fundamental is the key. A company fundamentally good will be able to go trough tough market condition. Company with weak fundamentals will be barely able to stay alive.

if we are looking for a many small gain, i believe news or good performance on that accountng period is the key.

so choosing the right trading or investing strategy depends on our goal, not others goal. we may educate ourself by learning what others do or use but is best to choose what work best for us.

I say durian taste great, but others may say durian smell like shit.
