Yesterday I posted my article namely France recalls Ambassadors from US and Australia. Many of my readers wanted to know more about the nuclear non-proliferation treaty and its objective.

Since 11 May 1995, a total of 191 States have joined the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty. The five nuclear-weapon States are Russia, US, UK, China and France. Besides these 5 nuclear-weapon States, all the other States including Australia do not have nuclear weapons.

Russia and the United States continue to possess the most extensive nuclear arsenals. The former has 6,255 warheads, while the U.S. maintains 5,550. The third largest holder of these weapons is China.

Objective of the NPT
The NPT is a landmark international treaty whose objective is to prevent the spread of nuclear weapons and weapons technology, to promote cooperation in the peaceful uses of nuclear energy and to further the goal of achieving nuclear disarmament and general and complete disarmament.

That means countries without nuclear weapons cannot acquire nuclear weapons from any of the 5 States which have nuclear technology. US and UK cannot build nuclear submarines for Australia.

France recalls Ambassadors from US and Australia

Calling American and Australian behaviour “unacceptable between allies and partners,” France announced on Friday that it was recalling its ambassadors to both countries in protest over President Biden’s decision to provide nuclear-powered submarines to Australia.

It was the first time in the history of the long alliance between France and the United States, dating back to 1778, that a French ambassador has been recalled to Paris in this way for consultations. The decision by President Emmanuel Macron reflects the extent of French outrage at what it has a called a “brutal” American decision and a “stab in the back” from Australia.

In a statement, Jean-Yves Le Drian, the French foreign minister, said the decision was made by Mr. Macron, who is understood to be furious about the way the United States, Britain and Australia negotiated the deal without informing France.

Australia on Wednesday cancelled a $66 billion agreement to purchase French-built, conventionally powered submarines, hours before the deal with Washington and London was announced.

Malaysia and Indonesia protested

Malaysia and Indonesia have criticised Australia's decision, while Singapore and Japan added support. Malaysia has joined criticism of Australia's plan to build nuclear-powered submarines, warning it could spark a renewed arms race in the region, while the diplomatic crisis with France sparked by the decision continues to escalate.

Australia should bear in mind that if China really wants to invade Australia the few submarines cannot stop China. Unlike the US, China has not invaded any country in the last 100 years.

China defence system: China has drone strike capability and guided long ranch missiles with nuclear heads to strike any target.

Long range missiles

The S-400 deploys two missile types capable of hypersonic interception at ranges of 250km or more. These are the 48N6DM/48N6E3 and the 40N6E. The former retains a range of 250km and can intercept its target at speeds of up to Mach 14, with a semi active radar homing guidance system. The latter retains a considerably longer range of 400km, and climbs to the upper atmosphere before descending towards its target. This provides the 40N6E with excellent over the horizon capabilities and allows it to intercept targets at altitudes as low as 5 meters off the ground. The missile makes use of a combination of semi active and active radar homing, and its capabilities are a considerable game changer unparalleled by any other munition in the world.

Australia wants to become one of the big brothers in the world. So she welcome US to help her building nuclear subs.
This is the Us plan to control China.

Australia is not trying to challenge China. They're just doing something reasonable to defend themselves against the China threat.

What is so bad about that. Not everybody in western Pacific is exactly enamoured with China.

Even Philippines is pragmatic enough to support the new AUKUS grouping & Australia's integral place in AUKUS, including Australia's nukesub pact with AUKUS.

I would not be surprised to see Japan following in Australia's footsteps some time in the future.

Australia main threat is not china who are few thousands miles away mah, it is indonesia their neighbour which can sneak into the country anytime and invade it loh!

A few very serious factual errors in KYY's post. PR_ invaded Xinjiang in October 1949 and Tibet in October 1950 besides a few others... It did not want to abide by the ICJ's decision in 2016 on its claims to the West Philipines Sea. It does not respect the UNCLOS to which it is a signatory. I feel Australia is trying to build its defences against a war which most people believe is likely to break out within the next few of years..Of course it will most likely involve like minded nations in the region with US support. Defennding oneself is every country's right in my view...All countrise in the region are arming themselves..something that will benefit the US in a way...

aukus, caukus or jcaukus is not a threat to russia, iran, cuba or pakistan

only intended as counterweight against aggressive china in western Pacific region

In the Old Testament, it was prophesied , more than 3,000 years ago, that there will come a day the message/voice from one end of the world will be heard at another end of the earth. Who can know what was the meaning when the Prophet mentioned it then? Did the Prophet refer to iPhone/internet/telex?

It was mentioned amongst the religious giants, there will be a time, 2/3 of the population will be destroyed within 12 minutes. What can be the cause? A huge object coming down from the sky? It could be a nuclear war. Nations are building up to prepare for that big event.

The leftover of those human beings (7.5 bil less 2/3) most likely will be unable to function as normally already. Immediately after the nuclear war, the share market as well as the health care will be crashed and the climate of the earth shall be upset that will....you don't have to say anymore what will be the consequences that follows.

If the Messiah would appear soon after that, only the righteous can pass the "immigration" to Heavens but the rest/wicked ones will be banished. Nothing can be deleted from your files about the good and bad deeds for each of us. The Creator will repay/reward accordingly and punishments will be administered without discount if there is no good deeds at all.

Whoever committed crime(s) against the Father In Heaven, He will repay on the basis of "measure by measure". But to those righteous/sins being forgiven by God/screaming to God for Mercy/, He will be their refuge/fortress/their Lord/God.
