There have been tremendous changes in the Malaysia bull market from the year 1977 till date. Some heartbreaking and mouth opening events have happened during this period and this has in one way or the other affected the Malaysian Economy.

For instance, in the month of January, the Malaysian stock market recorded an index point of 1745, which was a far cry from the 1761.25 that was recorded in the month of December 2014. According to the chart, it would be noted that the average index of the Malaysian stock market from 1977 to 2014 is 759.12. It is also seen that the record of the lowest stock index in the Malaysian market was 89.54 and this occurred on the 29th day of the month of April 1977.

It should be noted that the stock market will always go higher, but have corrections and this is why the highest index point recorded in the Malaysian stock market is 1882.71 which was recorded on the 30th day of the month of June, 2014.

Malaysia stock market otherwise referred to as KLCI has had a series of negative and positive performances from 1977 till date.

According to the chart, it would be noted that from 1977, the Malaysia stock market has been able to accumulate an average of 697. After the low index recorded in 1977, the first major bull market rise was between the years 1991-1994 where the Kuala Lumpur composite index (KLCI) recorded an index of 1200 when compared to 89 that was recorded in 1977.
 

The market has grown since then and even though the bull market had a major fall in 1999, the Economy was able to rise again and this leads us to today where the Malaysia stock market (KLCI) is having an index of 1761.25.
