Turbulence
Perfect storm of turbulence from offshore in the cards
- This Sunday....draft Brexit papers to be signed.....All eyes on Brexit.
- FANG is dead.......the teeth that fuels the recent market is blunted
- US China trade war , hotting up not cooling down
- Buying on dips not working, ....Traders will be more relunctant to buy.. Signs of bear market in Wall Street.
On the local front
- Recent statistics, third guarter GDP 4.4%, third guarter trade surplus $4 billion both worse than expected.
- Lack of positive drivers
- Retail investors seriously injured, local institutions cautious.
- Buy on dips have to be very selective. with weaker and weaker rebounds.
- Government on belt tightening
- GLC on defensive, no one doing the attacks
So How?
Take care......
If you are a trader, a very good trader, opportunities can still be found
If you are investor and not trader, you can still make money if you have enough patience and pick the right share......both are tall orders.
no wonder, all the value investors have disappeared, dead or alive also don't know.

on the brighter side.....it is expected that in coming weeks and months, emerging markets should do better than Wall Street.
but this is only an expectation.

in a year in Wall Street of tax cuts, the US economy running on all cylinders...the DJIA is at year low.
shows u....u cannot make money if u only follow economic news.
shows u...economists is a useless profession for stock market.

despite the turbulence, shares I have and shares I like beat the market .....
Elsoft, Supermax, Layhong, FLH, Sam Chem...all did well this week......
