PUTRAJAYA, May 14 — Chief Secretary to the Government Tan Sri Ali Hamsa today confirmed the resignation of Datuk Dzulkifli Ahmad as the chief of the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) with immediate effect.
“He submitted his letter to me (today). His replacement is in the process,” he told reporters at the Perdana Leadership Foundation here.
Ali declined to comment when asked the reason for Dzulkifli’s resignation, saying he will issue a statement later.
