KUALA LUMPUR, June 5 — Terms under which Malaysian central bank governor Tan Sri Muhammad Ibrahim would leave are being discussed and his resignation could be announced as early as tomorrow, two people aware of the discussions told Reuters today.

Muhammad’s offer to resign was reported by Bloomberg earlier today.

“Terms of his exit are being discussed and an announcement on his resignation could come out as early as tomorrow (Wednesday),” one of people aware of the discussions on Muhammad said on condition of anonymity. — Reuters
