Guan Eng criticised for allegedly going against promise not to use rakyat's money in third national car project

PETALING JAYA: MCA has criticised DAP secretary-general Lim Guan Eng for allegedly going against his promise not to use the rakyat's money for the third national car project.
Its president Datuk Seri Dr Wee Ka Siong said that Cyberjaya company DreamEDGE Sdn Bhd, which was awarded the third national car project, only had a paid up capital of RM12.4mil, and it had recorded RM20mil in losses last year.
"Billions are needed (for the third car project). And DreamEDGE obviously does not have the financial strength to make such large investment.
"The company certainly needs a large injection of funds. And I am certain the funds would come from the biggest shareholder - the Pakatan Harapan Government, " he said in a Facebook post on Friday (Aug 9).
Dr Wee added a screenshot of a Companies Commission of Malaysia (SSM) document with his post that showed the biggest shareholder of DreamEDGE was Syarikat Venturetech Sdn Bhd
He also uploaded another screenshot of an SSM document with his post showing that Venturetech is fully owned by the Malaysian Industry-Government Group for High Technology (MIGHT), which is 100% owned by the government.
He said this in response to International Trade and Industry Minister Datuk Darell Leiking's announcement earlier Friday that DreamEDGE was selected as the anchor company to handle the car project.

LGE knows this is going to happen. They already made the agreement before they join hands to win the election. LGE realistically knows Chinese will never be able to control the government. Is those stupid MAlaysian chinese still thinks DAP can control the government. LGE make sure there are some money from the federal goes into Penang infrastructure. At the end of the day, Penang is the fort of DAP. PKR and Bersatu is losing the Malay votes. 3 bi-election already proof it.

Might as well save 1 state Penang so that it won't be as backward as KElantan and Terengganu. PAS and the majority of the Malays still put religion as their most important thing in their life. Life after death is more important to them. THis life is not important. That is why there is no sense in urgency in their life.

And do you know USA net migration rate is around 15.94 people for every 1k USA population, which comes to around 5 million people migrating into USA every year.
