Political stability, economic development should be the focus of new govt, says Zahid

KUALA LUMPUR (Bernama): With Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin now firmly placed as the country’s eighth prime minister, the focus of the government should now be directed at ensuring political stability and economic development, says Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi.
The Umno president said various measures should be taken towards strengthening the economy and this would need the support of all Malaysians irrespective of their race and religion.
"We should come together and forget our differences. We must recover the economy in order to take care of the people’s welfare. Urban poverty should also be reduced,” he said here on Sunday (March 1).
He said this when met by reporters after the ceremony this morning at the Istana Negara where Muhyiddin took oath as the country’s new prime minister.
He said the government must also bring back the Islamic institutions under its folds again particularly companies under Tabung Haji.
"I am not being racist in this matter as this is already encapsulated in the national policy and we will correct the situation.
"We are not promising the moon and the stars but I think the new leadership will be better as Tan Sri Muhyiddin is more open and more grounded and all of us in the parties that are supporting him will help in whatever way towards the best of plans, particularly in determining the fiscal policies and banking systems,” he said.
Asked on whether a meeting will be held soon to discuss the selection of a new Cabinet, Zahid said he had yet to receive any indication on the matter and that it would be best left to the discretion of the Prime Minister.
Meanwhile, Gombak MP Datuk Seri Mohamed Azmin Ali said he was confident that Malaysians would receive well the appointment of Muhyiddin and his administration of the country to ensure its continued progress.
"The country’s political crisis has been resolved in accordance with the Constitution and this has been a very positive thing and I am confident that the rakyat will receive it well,” he said.

KLCI below 1800 is because of previous thieves effect and traitors working from inside. Remember Assmin is responsible for economy.
The old man effectively moved all GLCs into Assmin's ministry.
This move was to reduce LGE's control. It was from the beginning the sabotage agenda began.

I)economy getting worst
Ii)Rm depreciate from rm 3.80 to rm 4.20
Iii)Stock market drop from 1880 to below 1500 point
Iv)Many things increase in price compare of promise reduce cost of living
v)Minister of PH never show much example.
People go off because of these 5 things.Not betrayal.
