As far as the real economy and the financial market is concerned, it is DISCONNECTED.
The question is, when will this disconnection or gap reduced?
This is a trillion dollar question.
Will crude oil goes below USD40 per barrel?
Will NYSE tank 50%?
Will the world goes into deflation?
When will the real economy and the financial market RECONNECT?
How high is the Market Cap over GDP in US?
What is the CAPE Shiller PE like compare with the past?
What was the growth in US companies for last few years, from cost cutting or revenue expansion?
What is the income growth of the labor market?
What is the size of HEDGE funds over the last few years?
What about the derivatives or debt in oil and gas market?
Will the oil and gas similar to the subprime, that can distabalise the financial markets?
How much carry trade over the last few years?
What is the amount of education loan?
In short, we will have to find out the REAL ECONOMY situation and compare with the financial market. If the gap is too huge, then we should shift from RISK ON to RISK OFF.
