From February, 1992 to September, 1994, he was a Manager of the European Treasury Audit of a financial institution based in London and then, he was appointed as the Head of Financial Engineering (Treasury Department) of a financial institution in Malaysia.
From October, 1994 to December, 2001, he was the General Manager - Finance & Corporate Affairs of a public listed company listed on the Main Board of the Kuala Lumpur Stock Exchange, which was engaged in the manufacture of biscuits and sweets, property investment, manufacture and distribution of metal tins, cans and paper cartons.
