Today netx 50% gain within 1 day mah...more terror, one day gain compare to any high flyer gloves stock loh..!!

It is so important to stay with Great companies. Even if you have bought these expensive, over the long run, you will usually do fine.

OTOH, buying gruesome companies, like NETX, you will be dealing with one heart ache after another. Those realising their mistakes should know what to do.

A company that is running losses every year and having huge negative FCF every year cannot be a good business. Misleading the readers on its cash is so evil indeed. To recant, there are many companies with huge cash reserves but having very poor businesses, they are all trading appropriately at very low price to their asset values.

Realising his mistakes in NetX, strongcows is getting emotional again. Same as the Fortune is not Blooming, getting emotional too.

It is true. Those who did not pile into gloves at the beginning of the pandemic would have missed this once in a lifetime opportunity to ride up with the glove counters. I was lucky. Why? Because the top 2 glove companies are high quality growth companies; fulfilling my investing selection criteria.

When KKP passed his baton to his son in Mui, calvin the manic was excited. Turnaround was round the corner and soon, he shouted and promoted.

Alas, turnarounds occur rarely. In past, I have invested in 2 turnarounds which was very profitable. But then it was obvious that these companies were getting better revenues and earnings, but they were neglected due to recent poor performances. I was referring to Hai O and GCB of a few years back.

As for mighty MUI, I am shocked when I took a look at its NTA today. I have always remembered how its NTA was 50 sen per share and at 20 sen price, it was "undervalued". Having not track this counter for sometime now, shockingly, its NTA is 7.8 sen today! Its price is 14.5sen!

It has certainly lost a lot of its equity value. Those who invested in MUI because it was undervalued should now realise it was undervalued for a very good reason. It is a gruesome company destroying value. Its " undervaluation" to its asset value was appropriate: only fools think they can spot value in this company.

Stay with quality. In the long run, you are protected against capital risk and timing risk holding quality companies.

Those who bought during the recent corrections would have bought at the low and seen gains in their newly bought stocks.

Forgive strongcows. He bought Netx at 2.5 sen to 3 sen. Very understandably, he is kicking his ownself.

Forgive calvin. He is so melodramatic. Very stressed after selling all the houses and chun chun invested the proceeds into the high stock market just before Covid. His Netx has lost 67% year to date.
