Not recently... I bought for quite some time already. I think back when Trump first declare trade war, many furniture stock rallied for a day or two. 82cents was I remembered the highest.

At first regret didnt sell when it spiked to 82cents, now look back, it really didnt matters. The free CW plus all the dividends so far has make up for it. Might top up more if the price is attractive.

South Korea, Taiwan, Singapore and China (& HK) probably the first few to adopt it since tech is home grown and easy approvals from government.
As for others, I would say wait and see. Telecommunication industry is heavy reliant on frequency band bidding and allocation.

Even though 5G is the next big thing, I dont see there would be drastic action in the next 2 years at the very least.
Unless you are really a geek, you probably have no idea what 5G really is all about except that you know its great in speed. In reality, it is a bit more complex than that. 5G technology is so different than 4G that it poses technological challenges that 4G dont face. The biggest one would be coverage. It operates on a much higher frequency band and as with higher frequency band, the signal dont travel a great distance. Higher frequency also have harder time penetrating materials.
Hence I think for certain countries (I think Malaysia included), you will only get 5G in dense area like city center, universities or government buildings. 5G would benefit since the deployment area is not too big and have huge users to utilize the additional bandwidth gained with 5G. Whereas for the rest, we will most probably be stuck with 4G for 2-3 more years until they made a huge step forward to increase the range of the tower as well as reducing the cost of the equipment even further. As for now, I think only certain countries will be benefiting from 5G roll out.

LoL... all these years under bn regime really brainwash a lot of people. No wonder Malaysia is easy meat. They aren't used to competitions. They want to have easy life, guaranteed profits, and even talk about how to run a country.
If you are so confident that mmc gamuda bid is the cheapest, why not just re-tender? I'm pretty sure they will still get it if this is proven to be true. Why are they lowering their tone now?
Moreover your epf denomination is in Ringgit Malaysia. Even if gamuda went bust and wipe billions of epf warchest, your money wouldn't dwindled a single cent.

Personally, I don't think gamuda will get it if they are not willing to reduce more. They changed their tone but I doubt they will be willing to reach the level set by the consultant.
I think by cancelling and having gamuda re-tendering would send a strong message to every companies out there that the new gov is serious about a reform.

To those pathetic holders, just remember you buy gamuda because...
1. Strongly linked with government contracts
2. Change of government since may
3. New gov have been cancelling, terminating, renegotiate every single big contracts
I believed every single one of you knew about this... and yet you choose this counter because you think the bosses and their management are great. Guess what? They have proven you're damn wrong. Every single sub contractors have reduced their pricing. So why did gamuda refused? For me, I think they are just fcuking arrogant thinking well, above ground, they can find a replacement, but underground, only I can do it. However they forgot there's the rest of the world.
If I were you, I would vote these idiots out of the board room. It's the new era baby. So get used to it.

LoL @ gamuda shareholders. Contract termination is normal in competitive environment. Now all play OKU card, I have housing loan, car loan, anak bini need to feed, first class honor sacrificing good pay to serve his country, etc. Just take the compensation and STFU.

Pretty good... except the second strategy. Unfortunately, CNC cutter's profits are not what they used to be in the past and cutting speed has not improved by leap and bound. Cutting charges also has not changed since 19xx. Unless you are in this industry, you wont know.
If you have a laser cutter focusing on stainless steel, that would definitely generate much better profits despite the higher cost of ownership.

Already said if you can't wait, don't bother with Insas.
Back then when I was looking at Insas, I thought Inari PER was too high at 1.80 while led me to buy Insas. Inari exploded to 2.80 while Insas actually dropped to 87c from 94c. Fed up and ignoring it for a month. Received a message from my bro one day while busy dealing in Putrajaya. It rocket to 1.18.
If you're asking me top up, I really can't be bothered because I think I spent enough to understand how this share works.

If you plan to buy Insas, prepared to hold long. Im still holding to mine which I bought at 1.21
Value is there but when it can unlock... definitely unknown. Previously I also bought at 94c and it started to retrace to 87c before flying to 1.18. Sold it and bought again... didnt sell at 1.31 and been stuck since.

Par Value has nothing to do with ESOS price. The company just offered the director new shares at RM0.80 a piece, a discount to the market price.

I first bought at 94c then sold at 118c. Bought at 121c and stuck since. The WB gave me 40c back and lower average holding cost around 101c. I dont really care anymore since there's little bit of divvy from mothershare and RI every now and then. I probably breakeven soon. Since I hold it for so long, I dont really look forward to sell them anymore. Probably will think when it reach RM2.
One thing though, Insas has pare down its Inari holdings slowly but money nowhere to be seen. This may be something to look out for.

Insas wont sell Inari. Probably just sell a bit to fund the search for next golden egg. Inari can sell for a lot more than the market price suggest.
However, you really need a lot of patience with this counter. Good thing is that Inari value alone will kept it at around 60-70c. Downside is possible but limited. Long term investment lor...

Well, he can dump it all... in theory.
It is not bad for him either. He gets them for free, and if he dump them all around 50c, he gets 1 mother share for every 2 warrants. Of course, when he's dumping them at 37c off market, then its another story altogether.

LoL... I don't know what to say really. Fact remain that recent surge in Insas and Insas WB has almost brought those stuck with RM1.20 to break even level. I went from -900 to less than -70. I have sold the WB and lower my cost to RM1.

Putrajaya Perdana Bhd, alongside Pesona Metro Holdings Bhd, is on the verge of securing a highway concession in the Klang Valley worth over RM2.1bil, marking the start of both companies diversifying their business portfolio away from a heavy reliance on the construction industry.
The highway, with a 55-year concession period, will give both companies recurring income and beef up their order books. The highway is also expected to form the backbone of the return of Putrajaya Perdana as a listed entity to Bursa Malaysia.

Insas already at RM1.2x
If you own 5 Insas shares, you subcribed 1 RPS and get 2 WB. Considering Insas is at RM1.04 and WB at 41cents, 1.04 + 16.4cents ( (41x2) / 5 shares ). Just my own view... value wise already break even. Waiting for Insas at RM 1.3x and WB at 55c or so.

Blog: Why Adventa (7191) will join the Glove Bull Run after Comfort Gloves, Supermax & Luxchem, Calvin Tan Research

Why do people still group Adventa with gloves when they already disposed the glove making to Aspion S/B which then was taken over by Top Glove at an inflated price which led to a court case?
They might be still supplying gloves (middleman) but are they still making them anyway?
