You need to play the waiting game in order to profit from Insas. They will goreng the warrant soon... expecting 40c.
2021-03-16 13:40 | Report Abuse
Hahaha...
Insas used all the cash to SBB + dividends... where got cash left. Asset is rich and this is how Datuk Thong plan to play this game. RPS -> Free warrants. RPS get 4% and warrants gets millions. If you dont want to play his game, then you should sell.

Didnt this old fox said in his 28th Feb article he will not comment on Supermax anymore?

Insas price movement is so similar to what happened 5 years ago when they also do rps with free warrants.

This is why I applaud TG for being upfront about ASP. In their HKEX prospectus, TG detailed possibly ASP returning to normal somewhere around 2022 (not sure Q1, Q2, Q3 or Q4) but it is going to happen sooner or later.

This ASP graph is closer to real time than those numbers that Uncle Koon brought up. No matter how I calculate, I still cant get USD120 ASP that has been brought up many many weeks/months ago. The numbers dont lie... you can easily get capacity numbers and times ASP to get each glove makers revenue.

@Ron90
3b profit or 3b revenue? Very big difference... if 3b profit, Supermax can fly to moon already... hahahahaha

Revenue should grow more... it is a good start. Homeritz has reach 50m++ this quarter. Hopefully next quarter will reach 60M+.
Even if profit margin take a hit, it should be a good start and they can work to improve margin later on. I would have sold if revenue didnt grew since it showed the same figure every quarter.

georgeting,
I think they type wrongly... should be RPS. Insas gonna borrow money from you and pay you the interest of 4% annual for 5 years. Get free warrants from it.

Wow... Insas drop... Hahaha
Anyway still holding my 50lots from 2015... RM1.07 cost... What to worry... Get free warrant, prs 4% interest... Now bank interest 2%++...
Slowly earn...

I wonder if you look into Intco business before writing this article. Intco makes more than just gloves.
2021-01-20 19:20 | Report Abuse
Just took a look. Seem like revenue and profit not bad. Haven't look into the balance sheet. Dividend not very good which may explain the lackluster price.
However I'm in steel industry and steel price went up 20% lately. That would hurt profitability in near future.

But at Rm40, Supermax shares would be valued at only 25x FY21 forward PE. Not too unreasonable if all the stars align.
Wow... even though you knew the ASP would tank in near future, you would still insist on this statement. Not that I hate any of those glove counters, but some of you guys are just as toxic as the JPM analyst. Pot calling kettle black.

Although I'm not a fan of gloves right now, if TG really failed to deliver >10b this year, I think the shares will tank.
>10b should be easy for TG unless vaccination reached 50% around the world by June.
The real challenge should be 2022 forward with the massive over capacity around the world.

When RPS? Already hold my Insas for 5 years. Not sure why ppl scare. Insas wont go bust given their Inari holding alone. Drop to 40c also I never sold and just keep. Wait Dato Thong die only... see his life longer than mine or what... hahaha

Those foreign funds has money to play with you all year round. So what if you knew if it is cheap? Are you gonna sell your kidney and all in? Just trade with rationale, not emotions.

With such crazy price increase, glove has become a commodity. I think the price will come crashing down one day when covid is over and those profiteers will be gone.

For something as essential as healthcare related, when you look at most of the glovemakers earning 50% of their revenue, something is not right. Such essential items usually dont command such ridiculous margins. Assuming everyone is operating at maximum capacity, TG 4.8b revenue - 2,4b profit = 2.4b cost. Assuming the average profit margin during normal times is 15%, well, 400m or so.
Yes, JP Morgan RM3.50 is a bit low... giving it just a PER of 7x based on 400m profit each quarter. I think RM6-7 is a fair value if they kept running at full capacity.

Warrants in itself is a sort of dilutions as well. Expect price to be volatile for a couple of days.
If you had 4shares in 2018, you will get 1wb (plus 54c to convert to mothershare) and now BI plus free wc. Basically it will become 6 shares in future plus some conversion cost. Expect it to trend down a little bit.

ASP increased almost ten fold in a year and I wonder why you are using this crazy ASP to price glove stocks if you think covid will be history in 2022.
Although I dont know what ASP would be like in 2022 and onwards, but if ASP continued to stay high, I think many new glove makers would emerged all around the world given the hefty profit they stand to make out of it.

If you are in steel industry, you will know steel price usually hike between december and january. Steel demand is still quite soft lately (I think affected by CMCO) but the price hike will help increase profit margin somewhat.

Steel counters being goreng after LeonFuat sail from 36c to 52c. Sales were not bad during RMCO (although annjoo still in red) but after CMCO started, steel demand really drop. However, steel price did rise a little bit during the last 3-4weeks, so lets see if that would do miracle because I suspect it will not be enough. I think revenue will drop for most but profit might maintain since got price increase.

That is why gov shouldnt gave tax break and natural gas subsidies to glovemakers in the beginning. After they done that, what benefits did government get? These companies raking in hundreds of millions or billions hired foreign workers for 80% of their workforce. Then they break all the rules and when caught, denied it. After videos and screenshot were shown, then only they diam diam asked why got penalty. Hello? You dont know got such rules? How did you even get pass Jabatan Tenaga Kerja (JTK) interview when one of the thing they do is inspect that you adhere to 5pax/toilet and 12pax/house (4pax/room x 3rooms) for foreign worker accomodation.

I have hold since 2015. Insas has been selling Inari shares since then but I dont think its a big problem. As Inari shares keep appreciating, Insas will earn more from the sales.
Why I dont think it pose a problem is because Inari dividend is just a mere 4c for its RM2.xx price. Less than 2%. Although Inari shares keep appreciating, personally I think it is more of a over pricing than anything. Most tech stocks are over priced currently due to negative sentiment from Trump blocking out China but that could change anytime with a new leader. Once USA end trade wars with China, I wonder how will our local tech stocks fare.

What math is this?
20,000/hr x 24 hours x 365days = 175,200,000pcs
175,200,000 pcs / 1,000 x USD 90 x MYR4.4 = RM69,379,200 (SALES only, not profit)
So how did he get 196m profit from 1 line?

So where are all those who claimed western press is lying about Top Glove abusing foreign workers? LOL...
Some people have no idea how the whole process works and yet they want to claim they knew everything.
To be truth, all of Malaysian employers did not paid much to secure their foreign workers. These foreigners having to paid almost RM10K to secure a job in Malaysia. It is the sad truth. Some countries like Nepal already required Malaysian employers to at least pay for the flight tickets etc.
2020-10-03 12:42 | Report Abuse
Those who said it is all lies really need to face the truth of foreign labours market. Even Hartalega which is the most profitable glovemakers posted a statement that they will reimburse their foreign workers who paid money in the past to secure a job.
Do I agree with ban though? Absolutely not but it is a good wakeup call for most employers in Malaysia.

Wow... glove production assembly also dig up but currently not much going on.
We do service a couple of them, but sad to say there is not much expansion going on right now. There will be some action once covid19 is over in my opinion (before this big 4 already over capacity).
However I do not think the expansion will provide a big boost. It is the parts that matters more from what I was told. Even with stainless steel parts, it does not last long and requires constant replacement (few times a year).

LOL @ worldwide demand 7.8b people...
No wonder your marketing fail... 7.8b all wear gloves? If so, I think Harta, TG, Supermax, Kossan expand 10 times their capacity also not enough.
Vaccine is different because if the world population is 7.8b, then possibly you really need 7.8b vaccine doses. I love the $1000 pricetag arguments. LOL... vaccine never cost that much. Even if you sell them for $1 each, you are basically sitting on 7.8b sales.
