It is true that ATK bought plenty at 4.32 to 4.34. None was bought at the precise low of 4.31 because my buy q at that level didnt get hit 2 weeks ago.

But ATK "safety first" this morning, plenty from opening 4.64 to 4.69. You saw those very few volume done today at 4.69? Those were sold by yours truly here. Precision charting, precision timing, dare to strike at the right moment.

The way I read it, effectiveness of drug was good. Just can't reference placebo since it's not possible to create the blinded test environment. Ok la, wait for approval :)

Yes the result was way below my expectations for pre-specified endpoints. But it was above my expectation that MCI patients on the average can improve cognition and functional scores. The is called disease reversal. For mild and moderate patients, able to halt the disease is within my expectation.

All the trial patients have AD (brain scanned for amyloid deposits even though Lucidity is a Tau based trial). No way AD patients can score better or stop cognition decline if the drug does not work. Under such an outcome due to TAP (Therapeutic Active Placebo) issues, any JV licensing deals with big pharmas will have to wait until Taurx finishes the extra open label 12 mth extension with all the full data. Everyone will want to be on the cautious side. As I mentioned this morning abt the 3 ways of securing regulatory approvals, I believe Taurx shd be able to secure Conditional Marketing Approval to start commercialising HMTM but the authorities will need Taurx to conduct another larger and longer duration confirmation trial.

There are 3 types of approval:

1. Pre-specified endpoints.

2. Biomarkers. For Aduhelm FDA was using reduction in amyloid deposits. For taurx case, rate of brain atrophy us being used. Rate of brain volume atrophy is the scientifically best measurement to prove drug efficacy because AD patients' brains will all shrink due to dying brain cells.

3. When pure placebo is unfeasible (as seen in taurx's case), use ADNI historical placebo patients' performance for all the previous clinical trials done. There is ready pool of data probably 10k of placebo patients for all the past decades of AD clinical trials

There is no way Taurx is able to do double-blinded trial patients due to harmless blue pee side effects for our clinical trials without causing Therapeutic Active Placebo (TAP).

@DestinyL, no point trying to find out what is the cause of the price movement. Observing the price action is more important. (100 years ago it was known as the "ticker tape reading"). This was written by my stock trading grandmaster:

Temasek is Singapore's national investment holding company but it is not a publicly listed company. There is no share price for Temasek.

Temasek is holding Taurx shares via V-Sciences Investment Pte Ltd. This entity did not participate in the rights cum warrant issue of Taurx on Nov 2021 hence on fully diluted basis, Temasek's V-Sciences Investment will be holding only abt 1.9% of Taurx.

Not bad. Quite resilient today. Professional cha cha dancers like to watch price action especially late afternoon onwards.

There are very little officially declared shorts in GentB for a long time. I think most of the selling recently has been done by FFs. When so many people are bearish and on one side of the boat, the opposite may happen in a sudden and spark a technical rebound.

Inflation took so long to really take off, 14 years of ZIRP and non-stop QE money printing reaching USD9T on Fed's balance sheet. The inflation genie is out of the bottle now, not easy to get it back into the bottle.

I believe fed is going to hike 0.75% on Nov based on what Powell said on post FOMC conference last week especially the Q&A part.

Macau licence application is not exactly a bad news. Pre-covid days Macau was the global number 1 gaming market. During bull market, this news could be greeted by a rally base on Macau licence theme play.

Strong selling more likely due to bear market's dominant downward force exerting itself, hence price moving lower and lower. Global stock indexes all red everywhere. There is little catalyst for the bulls to start coming in after very hawkish FED during FOMC post-conference. The average Fed members' forecast pivot rate is 4.6%. Some area of the economy may crack big time (especially highly indebted and stressed sectors/companies) and may evolve into another financial crisis some time down the road. FedEx and Ford already sounded warning bells on weak earnings forward. In summary, its a bear market.

New recent low..... strong sellers today. FF again?

@John, the stock market these days is largely about central banks' monetary policies, not the current state of real economy. Everything is forward looking by 6 to 9 months ahead. The current traded price is a reflection of all the market participants' forward perception. The stock market is about crowd psychology. Stock charts and patterns tend to repeat itself because generation after generation, human nature on greed and fear never change.

Where is Sharefisher? That smart one knows when is bull market, when is a bear market. Short term entry price TA skill is not as important as knowing the primary direction of the stock market. In a bull market most of the stocks will go up, and in a bear market most of the stocks will go down.
