More insights from VT, while waiting 4 the good news.."Berjaya Group has a total of 15 hotels worldwide. It intends to carve out its hotel business from Berjaya Land and undertake an initial public offering in Singapore as it cannot be listed in Malaysia due to the Securities Commission Malaysia’s chain listing requirement"

Yes, probably privatisation through a share swap of BJLand to BJCorp shares just like last Penta/BJCorp deal and latest YTL Land to YTL Corp shares... sweetened with a one off dividend? That's why more than 60million off market deals done on BJLand yesterday & more to come before result is out by Friday?

No need so much...just like Penta/BJCorp deal for starters is good enough...we will know who made the DBT deal by end of the day...no news yet on BJLand latest Qtr's. results in the BizEdge, TheStar & BizTimes yet.. must be an embargo request by VT pending positive announcements? Also my little bird is unusually quiet today?

with 84.684% after VT giving notice, according to Bursa takeover rules...VT needs another 90% of the balance of free floating shares (15.316%) before can forced acquisition..no one will take up the offer unless similar to Penta/BJCorp deal complete earlier in March :)

Actually VT is doing "charity" selling at current discount... with EPS of 3.64 & NTA of 0.85 it's better than FD with potential for capital appreciation in future...most probably will move up before Godfather retires in 2020 and also there's a court hearing to finalize on Selangor Turf Club land in July, GMOC Arbitration in 3 month's time in September & Jeju Korea Compensation in October if you read the latest Qtr's. report...

so if LKH got no money can always work as partners with VT & CRC to develop BM...very sure Godfather can make it happens...

"We are looking for an infrastructure project such RM1.2 Billion Tioman airport and will propose to the government. We want to finance the project ourselves with loans from banks. Something is definitely Brewing, better book Ur tickets at current price be4 sold out!...since Godfather is raising funds, VT as financier needs cash... that's why the change of heart to release the latest Qtr's results on schedule rather than postpone to end August with change of accounting date...the coming Qtr. results next week? will indicate profit from sale of Vietnam assets boosting BJGroup's share price? No harm done to buy some and treat as FD since the upside is much higher than the downside as already all time low...further time is not on VT's side to wait any longer to reap the returns otherwise why give notice to transact knowing that it will breach Bursa's free float requirements, if VT just buy a little bit more? or can't wait because money is coming home soon from JeJu Korea compensation or GMOC, China Arbitration?
