haha... idiot cum loser acts like KYY to talk about business sense....
and created another id Mags to talk nonsense but no point at all in that post...
Hello WiseInvest0r.
you are indeed a wise investor...
but u told starperformer (to me sxckperfomer) = CKCS about depreciation for what?
he cant even understand cash flow.. do u expect him to understand what depreciation is?
we all know depreciation is a non-cash item but do u expect him to know?
He just look at "net profit" to define how much cash Evergreen can generate...
do u expect a baby to run? he can't even stand up or walk...
haha....
2017-04-27 09:54 | Report Abuse
and also dun forget.. their main source of revenue and profit still come from Transformer, industrial lighting and related products
2017-04-27 09:53 | Report Abuse
haha... suregain... check back the latest reports and see.. SEB/process equipment div will likely be generating positive earning in 2017:
In the process equipment segment, the economic outlook remain challenging. Nevertheless, the
Group is continuing its effort to focus on its core business in fabrication of pressure vessels and
process equipment for oil and fats industries, chemical, downstream petrochemical, water treatment
and power plants. In addition, with the Group marketing strategy in broadening the customer base
and products especially in steel structure and piping works and securing order books todate, the
Board aims to strengthen project management and cost control so as to generate better margin and
positive results for the Group in this financial year
in fact, i suppose in Q1 & Q2 2017 result, SEB already turned around to be profitable. Why?
See 2015 Q6 (yes, they have 6 quarters that year to change to a new fiscal calendar)...
non-controlling interest (35% of SEB) was seeing -9.136mil loss...
in 2017 Q1 & Q2 (cumulative), the non-controlling interest is already positive = RM5.653mil...
and there are other clues too:
Review of performance
Profit after tax and non-controlling interest (“PATNCI”) of RM14.83 million for the current quarter
ended 31 December 2016 representing an increase of RM5.93 million or 66.7% as compared to
previous year’s corresponding quarter ended 31 December 2015 of RM8.90 million due to better
performance in transformer and lighting segment and improvement of results in process equipment
segment.
Variation of results against preceding quarter
The Group recorded a profit before tax (“PBT”) of RM25.25 million for the current quarter ended 31
December 2016, representing an increase of RM5.96 million or 30.9% as compared to the preceding
quarter ended 30 September 2016 PBT of RM19.29 million mainly due to contribution from
transformer and lighting segment and process equipment segment.
both paragraphs mentioned about contribution from process equipment segment..
so do u still think SEB/ process equp is still making a loss?
haha....
let me tell u what.. they previously made loss due to SAMUR project cost overrun (with Kencana).. and this project has ended...
see, u need to spend effort to do homework.. that is what a value investor does...

haha.. idixt is indeed idixt.. cannot see how evergreen is able to pay dividend?
1) Revenue of close to RM1billion
2) Net profit of close to RM70million
3) Net cash generated from operations close to RM240million
these items that i mentioned are RECURRENT.. cannot afford to pay 827,153,000 x 2 sen dividend = RM16.5 million?

characteristics of loser CKCS = starperformer
1) no basic accounting knowledge, dunno how to read cash flow statement
2) no analytical skill, dunno what will happen when CAPEX reduces signifcantly and when cash generated from operation improves
3) Not steady, not consistent.. keep changing tone when defeated
4) afraid to admit one's faults.. insist on the wrong path just to defend the fact that he is an idixt...

CKCS loser... dun run away from my statements above.. i challenge u to respond to those one by one if you have bxlls... (oppps.. u dun have any)...
2017-04-26 15:30 | Report Abuse
haha... guys, can u all see how this starperformer = CKCS joker + clown + loser re-act and keep changing his tones and diverting his points when he is fully knocked out with facts?
Let me show u -->
1) first - he claimed Evergreen has so-called massive debts and will not be able to pay out any dividend
2) I showed him that the management had approved to pay at least 25% of net profit as dividend in the last AGM.
3) today announced to pay 2sen (around 25% over 8.66 sen EPS)... Management is proven to keep to their words...
4) now CKCS knowing he is being slapped hard in the face, changed tone and said all sorts of bullshxt - Evergreen will not have real cash to pay dividend, will borrow more money to pay dividend... which is not true as I mentioned earlier.. they free cash flow has improved significantly and will continue to improve as their CAPEX will be greatly reduced...
5) then he said nonsense again - how many times Evergreen can give out dividend? I have an answer for him - as long as cash flow is great, net cash generation from operations is great, they can continue to give dividends..
conclusions: CKCS = starperformer = baby-level-speculator keeps changing his tones after he was slapped hard one by one...
wake up la wei.... very hard for loser like u to just admit that u are wrong meh?
always want to win despite the fact that you already lose out badly?
investors here are smart.. they can see it, right?

value investing is great because the majority/flock have not found out the intrinsic value of such share and therefore it is undervalued and offered u a good margin of safety to invest...
if it is generally known, will those value investors like warren buffet make such big profits?

haha... loser CKCS = starperformer is confirmed an idixt...
What Yong Ji mentioned was right... what happened to AirAsia when some research house (i believe coorporate with big sharks) purposely gave bad valuation in their analysis? share price dropped to 70sen+... and what is its price now? RM3.30++...
those who sold at 70sen is now crying all the way to the graveyard.. those who bought at that price is now laughing all the way to the bank... i was not the best timer... i only bought AirAsia around 1.20.. but still laughing half way to the bank...
come on la CKCS... give some common sense la pls.. dun just talk cxck...

suregain... i am not really sure if you gain everytime.. from what i can see from your comments.. u r short-term speculator... so u do not even understand what intrinsic value is all about and it sounds a bit ridiculous to hear you say: "almost peak"... tell us how to define it is "almost peak" if you do not have some proper valuation? i know different ppl will have different valuation methods. i have given one... but i doubt u will have one too... pls enlighten us with ur valuation if you really have one.. thank you

chankp7010... i am not sure for short-term TP.. i dont actually care for short term TP actually... I will just wait until it reaches the intrinsic value... i can wait for longer term. :)

yes, the big boss has declared to Bursa that he wants to trade before the release of Mar 31st Quarterly results.. and this coincides with the recent hike of share price... maybe the boss or insiders already know the results will be good (but disclaimer here: I am not too sure)... it just looks like that way....

2017-04-25 11:28 | Report Abuse
haha... again idixt is accusing of "burning cash"... dunno how to read cash flow statements?
the past few reports show that the net cash generated from operations have improved tremendously while CAPEX is expected to reduce significantly starting 2017...
where is the so-called "burning cash"???
idixt.. i really pity ppl like u.. so hard to accept that u r wrong and just improve urself?
2017-04-25 11:26 | Report Abuse
before u even mentioned of so-called massive debt.. go take a basic accounting class first to understand cash flow..

loser just wants to win every single argument, despite the fact that he is clearly knocked out...
how can loser like this ever improve himself??? sometimes i really pity him
2017-04-25 11:24 | Report Abuse
born to be an idixt is not his fault.. but not studying well and accepting what is real and only wanting to win (despite losing out poorly on facts), and not wanting to improve himself --- is his fault though...
2017-04-25 11:22 | Report Abuse
haha... once again it is proven that this idixt CKCS has not done much homework on EVergreen but acted and sounded like sifu here (disgusting, is it?)... Evergreen management had approved in the latest AGM that they will allocate at least 25% of net profit for dividend starting this year.. so the score now is 1-0...
next, this idixt keeps mentioning of the so-called "MASSIVE" debt and i had slapped him hard on his face why this debt is not massive and why Evergreen has no issue with cash flow...
but does he even have one ball (if not two) to respond to what i wrote before? (i re-copy here):
idiot CKCS: Can u tell me where is Evergreen getting money to pay dividends to shareholders? Based on what I can see in the balance sheet, the company has very huge debts amount and high obligation to pay down debts first then other liabilities and lastly then check whether it has enough disposable money left to give out as dividends.
my response:
[you don't seem to understand it yet. in latest Q4 2016 report, Evergreen net cash flow generated from operating activities is as high as RM238.368M, whereas in 2015 Q4, it was only RM132.680M. That is a huge improvement of net cash flow from operations. in 2016, they spent a lot on CAPEX, around RM200M. But as mentioned by the top management, they expect to only spend around RM40-50M starting 2017 as most of the money had been spent for expansion. So you can expect net change in cash & cash equivalents to improve tremendously. let's be conservative and not assume any growth in the net cash from operations, keep it at RM238.368M in 2017, CAPEX reduction down to RM40-50M will already give them surplus of net cash & cash equivalent of RM238.368-RM45M = RM193.368M in 2017 (assume we neglect the small amount from cash flow from financing activities). Compared to total short+long term debts of just RM205M, they almost zero out the total debt based on just the net change of cash. don't forget they still have RM160M cash at the beginning of 2017 (carried forward from 2016)... so, even they have to pay down "all", i mean all debts, they still have enough cash to pay dividends.. but do they need to pay down all debt immediately? they do not necessarily have to do that... come on... . if dunno, pls ask politely and dun act like an expert... i feel very sorry for ppl like u... know a little bit, but act like sifu ]
2017-04-25 10:43 | Report Abuse
by that time, i suppose you should have just completed your kindergarten class and can start to be a little (yes, a little) more savvy in understanding what value investment is all about.. mat GOD bless u...

then i will tell u what is called "long"
2017-04-25 10:41 | Report Abuse
CKCS, why don't u come back here by end of this year / early 2018 to see what would the share price be by then?
2017-04-25 10:20 | Report Abuse
we value investors buy stocks that are trading cheaply (undervalued and has a good margin of safety) and just wait for mid to long term for the value to be discovered and realized...
so, loser cum short-term speculator, stop talking about "long" coz u have no stance to even mention this word...

2017-04-25 09:59 | Report Abuse
another example i can give is "AIRASIA"... that it has no cash flow issue (can generate a lot of cash flow from operations)... though in high debt.. but look at its share price now...
and dun forget that Airasia has extremely high debt.. higher than its equity.. whereas evergreen only has NET DEBT/EQUITY of 0.04 (or 4%)...
come on la.. CKCS loser.. dunno how to interpret data is it?
