You all know you have to put up 6 times more than what you have invested in this company, to get the 6 RI plus you will get 3 free warrants for every rights. if you have 500,000 shares now, it will be 50,000 x 6 = 300,000 rights to take up @ the new price of say 0.30 if the shares are 0.03 before consolidation. That is a cost of 300,000 x 0.30 = $90,000. Your original investment in this company was 500,000 x 0.03 =15,000 ( based on the price before consolidation.) Question is the opportunity cost. Does the benefit outweighs the initial extra outlay. Can you get a better return than chasing this exercise here or do you park your extra outlay somewhere else. Do your own analysis.

All four resolutions were passed even with lesser shareholders because they hold more shares than those shareholders voting against. Now we just have to wait & see how they manipulate the market before we have to commit more money to get the rights. Don't forget this RI is 10x more of the pre-consolidation price. Instead of 0.03 cents it will now cost us 0.30 per share. If they don't get the $ from the RI or the profit from the ESOS, they will come back again for another bite 6 months later like they all do.

It will always give the PP a huge discount to entice them & possibly a price hike after to enable them to make more profits after the issue. It's a part & parcel of the stock market.

Don't worry they need at least 500m+ shares to get to 90%, not 1m or 10m a day. Even if all the shares on the market are bought at a higher price and then accept the GO at 1.30 they are still not going to make it. Tok Pa must be living in a dream world. Talk is easy only 13%, trying to get it is not that easy.

hazli, The only thing we need to know is are we going to stay with FGV ? All this is not important once they get privatised with tax payers money and get delisted.

Can't see how restructuring the company's debt using SUKUK with Govt backed guaranteed, to reduce the loan used in this exercise as well as pay off settlers is going to help. They should be taking SUKUK loan to further increase the efficiency of their operation and increase future profits like replanting NOT pay off debts. Really got no business sense. Well, govt backing not their problem, just take and spend. I thought Tok Pa was a lot more astute financially than the rest of the ministers.

Remember officially, Felda has not bought any above 1.30. Someone else has bought above 1.30. They in turn might accept the GO at 1.30 at a lost and hand over the shares for the benefit of Felda. Just be aware that any shares sold on the market at above 1.30 might ultimately end up with Felda. Don't just count the turnover at 1.30 and below. With D-day coming, assume all turnover in the next couple of days to ultimately end up in Felda's hand whether it is at 1.30 or above 1.30. It would be a lot cheaper for Felda to pay some brokers to pick up all that is available and then accept the GO, than to revised the GO upwards.

Felda needs at least another 550M additional share acceptances from the GO to get past the 90%.

Felda is going to collect all dividends of GO acceptors as a bonus as well as get a free ride to MSM & FGV future positive quarters. Why not they are going to get pass the 75% to enable them to control and pass all resolutions at any meeting.
