Stress free? What a misleading article. There is no such thing as stress free in investing. Many people say buy more when it drop more. It is easier said than done my friend. I would love to see how will you react when your stocks drop 50% with nonreasons and no more cash to add.

This type of stock better buy on listing day if you are bullish. Many MCA members have their money trapped in Matang for years. They will not hesitate to cash out

The only catalyst that can save Gadang right now is an announcement of MRT2 contract. But no need to rush to buy yet. Gadang's property arm in terms of new sales is doing badly. More bad news to come. I know some analyst keep mentioning about SOP is undervalued blah blah blah. But remember, valuation is subjective. Profit drives price actions.

Haha andy. If you are so bullish on TUNEPRO, you can sell your house and sai lang this counter. I read an analyst report. Basically they were saying there were a policy change for travel insurance which muted the growth momentum. No way TUNEPRO is worth such valuation with such results. Expect TUNEPRO to rechallenge RM 1.40.

Profit dropped more than half QOQ. Do you guys know who are the people who would claim the latest quarterly results is good? They are the people trapped in TEKSENG and hopefully some idiots who did not bother to look at the previous quarter result to buy from them.
Expect TEKSENG to crash more than 10%. TEKSENG is a highway to holland indeed.

The end of Mudajaya is near. I read so many quarterly reports and not once the management mentioned about the power plant in India. And in this latest quarterly report, the management finally come clean with the White Elephant, providing investors with a generous share of what really happened in the land north. To me, this implies that the management knows the project in India is really out of control from now on. Now, I think the management is just trying to protect the rice bowl. Revealing so much information regarding the India project only tell us that the management is looking for a scapegoat.
I really pity the shareholders here. So much value was destroyed by the incapable management at the top. If I were an Malaysian institutional fund like EPF or KWAP, I will start approaching their management to negotiate whether they like to sell their office tower located in a prime location.

Tunepro revenue did not go up despite strong sales at AA and AAX. This is a big red flag ehich Tune Protect is not capturing enough business from the airlines. Thanks to the sozai who bought 1.570 from me this morning. Tunepro will stay down for a long long time. Target price RM 1.40

Hahaha. Very funny. It seems that are a few insecure souls here who need external validation from strangers on the internet. Normally, this type of people have zero achievements and respect in real life. Thats why internet reputation is everythig to them, to the extent that they are willing to share everything to prove a point. LOL

Sauce, you keep mentioning about your fund manager this your fund manager that and the capital city. Without an official source, it is hard for us to ascertain a value on the JV. Anyway, appreciate your effort in writing about Gadang. If I have a huge position in one company, I would do the same.

The price action of Airasia and AAX got me worried. Both companies reported ok-ish results but share price went south the next day. The same might happen with Tune Protect.

The fact that Yeelee is trading at current valuation is criminal. This is a profitable, well managed and stable business. How the hell is the company trading at less than NTA? Although Yeelee ROE is low, it is still in the high teens. With Ribena distributorship kicking in and liberalization of cooking oil market, I think Yeelee deserves to trade at RM 3 at least. Investors must be patient with this counter.

Thanks YiStock for the explanation. I must say TGUAN is a well managed company with management who knows what they are doing. Based on this quality alone, TGUAN growth momentum should continue barring any unforeseen volatility in business conditions.

Harry is a good guy. I used to question his investment skills due to his persistent writings of superficial fundamental stuffs until one day I became an investment teacher myself. It is definitely not easy to deliver investment concepts effectively to people who have little or no knowledge regarding stock investments. But here, we have Harry Teo sharing bunch of stuffs in an easy to understand way without charging a single cent. Most importantly, he understands his limitations. He does not promote his stock holdings shamelessly. He does not bring people to holland.

LOL PurplePain. Do study more about Prestariang business. Prestariang is not a construction company building some sort of a 100 storey skyscraper. If I am not mistaken, the SKIN project involves the installation of IT equipments and software over the borders, customs and other entry points. For a company to bid for a large scale IT project like this, the software has to be already in place. Do you think the government is that stupid to write a blank cheque to Prestariang without seeing/testing the software first? The necessary R&D costs have already been incurred while developing the system required for this project. Why does the project requires 3 years to deploy is because it takes time to set up the IT equipments and most importantly, user training to the custom officers. The latter two factors is what dictates the pace of the billing. Lastly, THE GOVERNMENT ALWAYS PAYS HIS DEBTS.

Econpile is an outstanding company, thriving even in a depressed property market. Econpile valuation is currently around 15x. It is much less attractive compared to when it was trading at 10x. Do look out for Econpile construction capacity. The last thing investors want to see is Econpile purchasing bunch of machineries which means lower profit in any slowdown when depreciation charges kick in.

Do not want to be a horse after cannon but the run up to RM 2.60 was too swift without significant correction. Now that the correction has come, I believe the correction could be bigger due to US raising interest rates in December (possibly). Remember Ekovest is a highly geared company. Any change in borrowing costs can affect its valuation in a big way. However, I hope Ekovest can drop more so I can buy more. The value of the company is still intact in the long term.
2016-11-21 15:51 | Report Abuse
The positive impact of SKIN has long been discounted in the share price. Just look at its PE. It is the typical ahead of the curve trade. Even if you do a rough NPV calculation on the contract will result in a valuation similar to its market cap with no margin of safety. I expect Prestariang share price to go up in the short term and then downhill. Prestariang is only attractive if it trades below RM 1.20 which I think may happen if its existing business deteriorates.
