London bis NTA used to be above $1, only a quarter turn into negative. As for this, cash seems to be alright but prospect remains dim whether got virus or without. Chief is too old in short.

Even good results may not help to push up its price under the current market conditions. But a lower profit is quite certain to drag it down.

Strongly agreed. Unfortunately in the real world, KPIs most of the time only for subordinates but not for the top. So when comes to VSS, subordinates will go first instead of top. When come to salary increment by %, top will get higher in absolute figure, that is also the root course of rising income discrepancies.

Average down at 75 but may consider exit if some others dropped to a more attractive level.

If EPF can give 5% dividends annually on average, it will take about 14 years + for 100% return, a 6% dividend will shorter it to 12 years. How long it will take for MBB price to double to $16?

Genting past and future...
Those days, limited market players. Now, Cambodia, Vietnam, Singapore etc in additional to the traditional players Macao. Chances for Gen to climb back to above 10 is challenging.
If could maintain its reasonable profits cum good dividends, est 4.50 (further impact of virus)_6.50. This does not take into account of US crash possibly.

FGV vs NFC? Of course with the revamp, rightfully is better. Nonetheless it also shows threats in the palm oil industry which is unlikely to overcome in near future. ST est 1.10_1.50.

Goreng again on someone interested its asset management, same old story and always quote name not to be mentioned, that is reporter ethic. Wanna trap minority investors? Avg down at 1.50.

Sabar sabar, small investors are unlike epf, we don't have funds to average down many times. Just like in casino, gamblers double up betting eg for "big", soon find out pocket is emptied and the results is still come out "small". Capital protection first.

Whether making profit or loss the price is est to be around this level unless rewards is announced.

YTL power DY is high too but only saw its price all the way to the south. Of course CIMB may be different, just a betting game anyway.

Why genm share bought back above 5, then above 4, now quiet for long time? No one would able to guess the degree of virus impact, when US bull becomes tire as it is already high valued, consolidated outcome of results, etc. May be within own risk appetite is the key to minimise chances of over burnt.

Sabar sabar as some funds have to adjust their portfolio following the drop out from MSIC. Of course in between, may purposely push up the price.

It is not yet the bear time but non sto bleeding.... If one know the reasons of foreign funds outflow, saved a lot over the past few years.

Sabar, sabar, they all makan gaji only, whether results is good or bad. Afterall minority can't do much. Only authority talking shok that SHs must do this do that.
Est push up then follow by poorer result announcement?

Racing for higher DY between HLB and PBB. Epf has a lot $ to support foreigner funds outflow impacts. Salute.

Glad to see non stop greedy politicians fighting for power and $ which ended up market top among Asian countries from the bottom.
With reserves of only USD 109 billion, no significant improvement in many aspects except corruption in a better position but have yet to see any big sharks go into jail etc, future remains dim. It will be even worst if US crash and virus takes an unexpected longer time to recover.

If Q4 results and dividends are below expectations, may drop suddenly to 2.50, factor in Q1 estimated poorer results.

The Malaysian economy was badly hit in the fourth quarter of 2019 (4Q19) as it grew by 3.6%, the lowest level since the third quarter of 2009..... Badly hit yet governor smile so sweet as in the photo. Obviously some may not be affected despite economy is bad or a weaker ringgit.

ARBB reported significant jump in profit but share price continues to fall. Profit without dividend is as good as no profit. As for this, if profit surge without dividends, it will be very unreasonable as it has abundance of cash. Anyway, good for trading.

Will only consider for trading at around 0.075. Same fate goes to Yongtai. Again, fundamentals for LT investors are missing.

2020-02-12 22:33 | Report Abuse
Silent on acquisition price and methods of valuation? With the enlarged shares, dividends prospect is dim at least in ST unless economy suddenly improved which is quite unlikely. Dec and Mar results est poor.

If rate cut will drag down profitability, profit growth is unlikely to be great.
If outflow of foreign funds will push down blue chip, answer is given over the past few years. Funds still flow out due to many unknown or pretend to be unknown conditions.
If DY is the selling point, TP=4.5% which is still lower than certain banks. Same fate for HLB.
If virus effects is certain, with the prolong wide spread, the impact can be even worst.
If US market does have a correlation in a negative way (as positive move is not correlated as proven in the past few years), US market cannot be bull run forever, so, just be prepared.
Of course, things may move in a different direction (which I wish so, so that minority will not be hurt badly). Anyway, capital protection for me first as for now and for this.

Warrant conversion price 0.18 expiry on Jan 2022. About 900m warrant given out. Assuming all sold at 0.015, $13.5m will be cash out. If financial statements is reliable, performance remains reasonable, plus some dividends, really a good fortune. Unfortunately only insiders know best.

Only for trading at best as "marketing people" here are good and may create volatility. Nonetheless, current assets is unreasonable extremely high. That is, sales without cash? Mainly goes to receivables? Poor disclosure regime just like a time bomb. Salute the company, from timber to IT and performed extremely good.

Will consider for trading around 0.075. Q4, Q1, Q2 should be poor. Those analysts sold high when it priced above $1 nowadays are very quiet.

Management is old and less energetic anymore. Overseas penetration is not easy job. HupSeng biscuits price in Bangkok is expensive.
London bis chips packed under kheesan eventually write off 300m receivables, no idea who benefited. Poor disclosure regime under poor authority. Good luck.

Lawmakers who have yet to declare their assets to the Dewan Rakyat Speaker could face a higher fine for not doing so.... Obviously there are some lawmakers themselves not afraid of laws and rules. Believe some may even challenge the requirements.
