On behalf of the Board of Directors of Denko, AmInvestment Bank Berhad wishes to announce that the Company has applied for suspension of trading in the securities of the Company, pending the release of a material announcement.

The request for suspension was made under Paragraph 3.1(a) of Practice Note 2 of the Main Market Listing Requirements of Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad (“Bursa Securities”).

Bursa Securities has approved the aforesaid application and trading in the securities of the Company has been suspended with immediate effect.

@ Lim Kah Ming, yes, agreed with Winston1. basically, if you bought 100,000 units of OR, you are entitled to subscribe for 100,000 of rights (mother share) at RM0.20. assume you bought your OR at RM0.005 x 100,000 = RM500, your then average for mother shares would be RM0.205, which is as of now, still lower than the mother share price. but question is whether you are confident to enter 100,000 units for mother share or not. if mother drops further, then it might not worth to salvage your RM500, while it might more worth to just buy mother shares off the market. if you dont take any action by 26/10, you basically just burn your OR / RM500.

@princehero, there are many factors that can affect the prices. Bear in mind as well that from time to time the staff who enjoy the ESOs can exercise their options to take profits.

there's no reason to rush selling before qtr results being released (in less than 2 weeks' time). unless the qtr results is bad. But i know it's good. it will consolidate eventually.

@voon soon yoong exactly. Someone throwing million of shares to push the price down, hopeful to trigger some panickers to flee and abandon the ship, and the initiator then buy back. Qtr result releasing soon. fret not.
