What Dali meant is that you can take advantage of the sideways movement to make some money. But you have to do it fast n do not be greedy. His strategy is sound. Some investors have make $$ from the sideways movement. It is only when you accumulate at wave B, you would be caught.

When a stock reaches wave 5, it is ripe for a correction irrespective of what projects it obtain etc... I won't keep a stock long term unless I bought it dirt cheap. It dropped and then move sideways (which I suspect is wave B) and then it drop off the cliff to complete its wave C correction. If I suspect the sideways movement to be Wave B, I would just sell it fast n wait for it to embark on its wave C correction.

I remember RHB's write up of Tune Insurance Bhd. I looked at the charts and I sold for a small profit of RM300. Today when I look at Tune's share price, I feel lucky to have sold. The lesson is do yr homework. I can see Viva is still in wave C correction, probably in wave 3 of C. It has not even reached wave 5 of C.

Is the correction over? It has made a parabolic rally with no correction along the way. Alexander Elders said in such a rally, you can throw away all your indicators, fasten yr seat belts and expect a rough ride. The rally has already ended. The question is "has the correction been completed". I think not.The likely target is 0.176 Just my opinion.

A 4th wave rebound means there will be a 5th wave down.

Easy to say. When there is a fire sale, everybody will run away. I bought a lot of shares in Sept 1998 when Dr M hinted that everybody cannot sell their shares. My co-worker went to my workplace and sat quietly in the corner of my big office looking pale n worried. His looks were like a dead man. The reason was that he just bought some 50000 shares in RHB. Only when I told him I was buying, he started to talk again.
Weeks back telcos were hit by those thoughtless politicians. They should have engaged the industry captains n come up with a win-win solution instead of some thoughtless announcements. Did anyone bought telcos when they were hit? If you have, congratulations. Everyone is coming to their senses.
Refarming spectrum means we will experienced a disruption in mobile phone services in the near term. Everyone's mobile line will be affected. And the industry will have to spend Rm1 -2 billion to adjust their network. So they suggested to MCMC to make 1) 700HMz available for auctioning 2) instead of refarming those spectrum already in use, MCMC should refarm those spectrum given out to those who are now renting out the spectrum 3)Telco are willing to pay a higher upfront fees to MCMC.
Everybody will be affected including investors, ASN, EPF, Tabung Haji etc and so a win-win solution is likely to come.
Right now, we are neither here nor there. There is no fire sale. Nor is there an uptrend. What should we do?

The uplift in price of oil may well be short-covering by traders in the futures market. Nothing much has changed. The players agreed to stick to their January production.
